    Pros +

    • The lakes, the quiet (on winter holidays), the location (it did feel like we were far from everything even though the town is 7 mins from there). The beds were quite soft, just like we like them!
    • Clean and quite
    • Comfortable cabins.

    Cons -

    • I wish the room looked more like the one on the pictures. We had a Berkel 4, but the sofa we got was less comfortable than the one on the pictures (ours was too upright, small seating area with no possibility to lay back). The shades were very dirty in the bathroom (looked like yeast) and there was a lot of dust between the bed and the bedside table. The house itself seemed to have ventilation issues, as we would often get headaches, that would disappear if we opened the windows and doors for some time to have more air. Also, I didn't expect to not get towels, even though we paid for the linen. And the reception was closed after 4pm which was our arrival time, so couldn't go and ask if it was a mistake or not. So had to go in town to buy new towels.
    • Bed are old, not constable
    • We applied for an early check in at 3pm in response to our request we received a formal notification that this was ‘Rejected’. We then received 4 lots of subsequent correspondence saying that check in was after 4pm and one saying check in was 2-4pm. Received a phone call at 3:15pm advising that check in was closing at 4pm. Dropped everything to make sure we arrived just before 4pm. Was charged 40 Euros extra for sheets (so we could make up the beds ourselves) and 40 euros extra for bath towels on top of the 220 plus euro cost per night. When I called just after 4pm to ask for towels so we could have a shower was told not to call this number as reception was closed and this number was now for emergencies only. Felt like we were stuffed around because they were disorganised (which caused us significant inconvenience) and ripped off because of their pricing model. Stayed a few days before Christmas and atmosphere was cold and uninviting. Will not be staying here again.

Size of the property, having en suite facilities and decking all good.

Only the hand held shower worked, the lighting inside was very poor and the accommodation quickly got damp over the duration of the stay. Somewhere to hang clothes would have been good. Quite a bit of dust around the floor

Well maintained very pretty park. Staff excellent and accommodating. Beach bar, Lovely walks or cycle rides all around. Quiet after dark.

Mobile homes (bungalows) tired in places, . Some mattresses need replacing springs very uncomfortable. Shop was poorly stocked. Lake water was very brown/ dirty but still OK to play in/paddle on.

    - excellent ‘beach’ lake -brilliant playground for kids -very warm indoor pool perfect for young children

-indoor slide broke after 1 day into stay and was not fixed for the rest of the holiday -not a complaint as shouldn’t always been an expectation but all children’s club activities were not in English which older children may be upset about missing as they looked great!

    8AstridPosted on: 7-24-2024

Staff fixed a window that would not open with minimal fuss. Pool and lake clean and good fun. Good value.

The cabin became a bit hot as weather heated up to high 20s and it was difficult to sleep. Maybe a fan would be useful?

Good location; beautiful surroundings; clean accommodation.

*Very tiny beds, not for an average adult. *We arrived late due to flights from abroad and were not allowed to enter the resort with the car after 11pm. Eventually, after a long convincing conversation/argument they made an exception and opened the barrier.

The overall park ambiance was nice, with the lake a lovely addition.

We chose this accommodation specifically due to its proximity to Graspop Festival and the shuttle service it provided and advertised. Unfortunately, the service ended up malfunctioning which and for half the days of the festival we had to organize alternative means to get there and back, which was a considerable challenge due to the rural location. When we approached the staff to request asssitance, the following happened:1) At no stage was an apology offered2) Conditions of the shuttle ticket sale were changed from day to day without any notifcation3) We were told that the problem is ours and not the accommodations and left to our own devices4) Ultimately we were kicked out and told to "go book a taxi"

Very well equipped kitchen and an overall nice setting in a relaxing holiday park.

Overall quite disappointing for the price (€300). First of all, towels were not inculded in this price, we had to pay an extra €7 for a pack. Never in my life have I come across something like this elsewhere. Secondly, there was only one toilet for 3 rooms, that as well on the ground floor, whereas all the bedrooms were upstairs. You had to walk down a flight of stairs every time nature called during the night. After a certain age this can be quite uncomfortable. The balcony door was not working properly, once open it was very difficult to close. We also had an ant infestation in the cottage.

The property was clean and well maintained, the waterpool was really good with well maintained water temperature. The separate beds for kids were small could have been made little more big

Beds were small for kids room

Nothing, it was an awful experience

Mobile home was freezing, heater not working in one of the bedrooms. Reception was not manned. the boiler made a terrible noise. The onsite restaurant wasn't open, so facilities were few. I told booking.com they did nothing, I told the property, and they told me I shouldn't have booked. Awful and never again.

Loved the accommodation, everything was clean. Beds were ok. Swimming was great.

No instructions on microwave oven so had to download the manual, hard to make toast! Mini shop never seem to be open. 2nd visit this year & wasnt open either time.

Both green environment to relax for adults and enough activities for my 1.5y old. (2 nights stay)

The sofa was full of dog hair from previous visitors. Otherwise cleanliness was ok. There was supposed to be indoor play center for kids, but it was not available.

Perfect location for Graspop Metal Meeting. Great facilities to relax (beach, lake, swimming pool, hit hub, slides)

Need to pay for towels and only one toilet in the apartment for 6 people. Not a major deal.

    3DamirPosted on: 5-4-2023

Location is ok, but need more atractiveness

not much to do, all rest were almost closed too early, staff disappear after 5pm and reception is closed,no towels were provided

    5RudolfPosted on: 2-26-2023

    location

poor quality of the bed and table in the livingroom, very bad heating, to cold or to hot,

    8AdamPosted on: 2-21-2023

Overall nice facility for families with children located in a calm surrounding. Small but nice indoor swimming pool. Bungalow was ok and spacious. Personal was nice and helpful, quickly fixing small issues with the heating (we went there in Feb).

The pillowcases of the sofa could have been cleaner. Another exception was the lifeguard, who was closing the swimming pool. We were late due to limited number of showers and just finishing packing our stuff, it was 6:05pm (sic!) and he switched off the light! I have 3 small kids, so it was a bit overreacted - especially as he saw us in there. After all he waited for us another 5min, but was noticably 'unhappy' with this situation.

    8JoaoPosted on: 10-2-2022

After a complaint, they offered us another chalet. The second chalet was in front of the lake. Very good.Easy to check out. Security in the swimming pool.Friendly staff in the reception.

We were placed in a house opposite two houses of a family of residents who left for work at 5 am and came late at night. Also a very noisy family. After 2 days have to make a complaint. The problem was resolved quickly. The swimming pool closes too early.Animation only Dutch. The restaurants and supermarket were not always open during the hours indicated.Staff in the restaurant refuse to change 2 euros in coins of 1 for the swimming pool locker.

very nice staff. The kids loved the swimming pool. We arrived before the check-in time and they let us in any way. It was also easy to check out a 4AM !

paying was not possible via booking.com. So I had to pay via bank transfer.
