Oranje City Hotel

Beautiful old building with surroundings new and old. Fantastic location to be able to walk around the small town. Love the esthetics, and quirks, of old buildings.

As for most of Europe, the beds. I am used to the opposing comfort level afforded by a firm, supporting mattress. The soft mattresses wreak havoc on my back till I can return to my firm bed at home.

The hotel is an incredible historic building in a very convenient part of Diest. We were able to park nearby. Self check in was easy. The breakfast was so generous and delicious! Our room was spacious. The dining room area is gorgeous

The rooms furnishings are a bit dated

Beautiful, quiet location. On the other hand, the room was very, very cold despite the heating. I paid for my breakfast, but I had to leave very early. No one offered to prepare breakfast for me before I left... only to serve me a coffee... Too bad if I had known I wouldn't have paid for my breakfast.

Charming little hotel in the middle of Diest. We were only going to stay one night, but changed it to two as we liked the place so much.

It's such a beautiful tranquil building, so quiet and calm. Our room was gorgeous (suite). The breakfast is truly excellent and good value. Staff very helpful. Diest is delightful, unspoilt, not at all touristy and has lots of great restaurants and cafes. This hotel is a real gem in a gorgeous town. We will be back with our bicycles to stay and explore the trails.

I could feel a couple of springs on my side of the bed....

Nice breakfast cold ham, cheese, fruit and bread served on a wooden platter. Orange juice on the side and a choice of tea or coffee.

Garbage bin men came at 0530/0600hr one morning and the bins were outside my bedroom window.

The beauty, the warm welcome, the amazing breakfast you must try, location, this is my second time here and I will be back again.

There is nothing to dislike.

The room was very noisy caused by guest in the room above us, walking around, talking loud very early in the morning.

The hotel is situated in an listed building. The dining hall is beautiful.

It’s like a goat hotel. No-one there. You get a code to open the door. The rooms are too small, dated and very warm. There were hairs in the washing basin. Just a big disappointment. This isn’t a real hotel.

parking is a bit difficult, however the hotel arranged it for us after our enquires about parking.

it says they have parking but it is not exclusive to the hotel it also has height restrictions! Also they charge €25 per dog !
