Narrow hard beds

Good location, beautiful virus and landscape, very friendly staff

Not a great value for the price paid… 124€ for one night for a room with 4 single beds and no private bathroom. We have to make our own beds and also undo them. The mattress is uncomfortable.

What a find. It had been a while since staying at a youth hotel and this one was great. It was out of peak season so fairly quiet. Easy to get to by bus from the train station. Clean, secure basic but very comfortable room with en suite and lovely view from room and from the deck of common area. A simple but adequate continental breakfast was perfect to get going the next day. We had come to Eupen for a music event and if we hadn't locked in other plans would have extended our stay to do some of the hikes nearby. The sights and delights of Eupen are all within 15 to 20 minutes walk or jump on the bus to town.

TThe washroom was smelling, shower curtain dirty, no soap provided, nowhere to put your own soap, no heating in the night, when they put the heating about 5am , the water from the heating made alot of noise woke us up, beds are too low, not in safe place my husband got hit in the head due to the position of the beds under stairs, and upstairs steps not safe to climb slipplery, not good for kids, even an adult could get an accident, but the staff are all great. The place needs improvement, no coffee or kettle in the rooms. You have to make own bed and the morning take the bedding downstairs. The place looks good inside needs improvement, health and safety check to be put into consideration.

it was all super, since i had a very stressful work assignment in German (not my mother tongue!) and lost my voice which made the whole work experience stressful, so having good clean and quiet accommodation, with a nice view, close to my work, was really great, and such friendly helpful staff too (despite me having no voice!!).

perhaps a cup in the bathroom for brushing teeth; and yes, for work guests, nice to know one could make a coffee or tea downstairs or so.

The room was nice, 3 persons would be able to sleep in a comfortable space. The bath room was small, but the shower was good.

It was forbidden to eat or drink in the room, this was not easy as you had to go to the city centre. Not that far away, but for breakfast, it is not the best solution.Although there was bed linnen foreseen, the plastic covers on the matras and pillow made me sleep bad (it makes noise whenever you turn your body or head.

The room was huge and we had our own bathroom. Both were very clean and functional. We slept well. The staff we met the next morning was very friendly.

With the hostel, we had agreed on a late arrival. They sent us an electronic key for which we had to download an app beforehand. Upon our arrival at 22h the key did not work and we could not enter the building. We called the emergency number of the hostel and there was only an answering machine (!). This is unacceptable. Finally another guest heard us and let us in and luckily the electronic key worked for the room.

Breakfast was fantastic.

Garbage rules not well explained; didn’t know where to put empty bottles.

Good location and simplicity, just what I was looking for.
