    Pros +

    • Location was an easy walk from the train station. Pleasant garden views from room window. Area so quiet we sleep with the window open. Bed comfortable. Staff was very friendly at check in/out and prepares eggs cooked to your request during breakfast. Breakfast room with large windows overlooking the garden. Our favorite breakfast experience of our 5 week stay. Recommended restaurant Intermezzo for lunch and salmon cooked lightly to perfection!
    • Beautiful hotel, room, convenient to town, delicious breakfast.
    • The room was very clean, big, and nice. The breakfast buffet was extensive and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

    Cons -

    • We found it weird that we had to pay 10€/ night for parking as we expected it to be included in the price since it’s the parking of the hotel itself.
    • Nothing to dislike.
    • My partner didn't sleep very well and thought the bed was uncomfortable - a thicker duvet & softer pillows would be welcome

Very tasteful conversion of an old shoe-manufacturer's house in the centre of Tongeren, with private parking and excellent bike store. Very convenient for bars and restaurants in the city centre. Tongeren is an interesting place to stay and also a good base for exploring the area.

    Nothing to dislike.

Lovely stay, nice clean rooms, everything was well within walking distance. The host was very knowledgeable and spontaneous with attention to detail. Definitely would recommend!

Perfect location. Nice and quiet but very close to city center. Great hosts. And nice to have drinks at any time of day at self service. Everything went perfect.

We had a lovely stay. Location is great, room was very comfortable with great bed. Breakfast was very good. Laurent was very attentive. I mean, I’m definitely booking again when I come to Tongeren.

Easy check in, free parking, a few minutes walk into town, spotlessly clean, good shower

My partner didn't sleep very well and thought the bed was uncomfortable - a thicker duvet & softer pillows would be welcome

A fabulous location with lovely hosts who know what you'd like even before you have uttered your request. Based in walking distance to the city center and the internationally renowned antiques market.

    10GaryPosted on: 11-14-2023

Beautiful, stylish, well furnished. Easy walking to the town centre. Free on-site parking. Great breakfast. Really friendly and helpful hosts.

    10ClausPosted on: 10-8-2023

Really super - everything! From the warm welcome where the host guided about the city, very comfortable room and not only normal coffee cooking facilities but an Expresso machine with capsules. Placed four minutes walking distance from the city center (and the flee market), and though very quiet, and with own parking spot (even for electric cars).

Everything was fine. If one must come with a remark it should be, that you could hear some voices through the room door, but since the hotel was very calm it wasn’t a problem at all. No other noice at all - not even from the street.

A beautifully renovated period property with nods to it's link to shoe making. Owner was very helpful as it was our first visit to Tongeren and we appreciated his recommendations . Close to centre with parking on site. Excellent breakfast.

    Everything was perfect!

Very friendly and helpful gentleman on main desk. Went through map with us and advised on good places to eat. Spoke English very well and was charming. He chose room for us which was very nice, clean and comfortable. Lovely shower that worked well in bathroom. Bed comfortable and very clean. Town centre just a short walk from hotel.

Went to Tongeren for the Sunday antiques market. Very expensive, most of it rubbish. Town not so clean and looks run down in places. Should have only stayed a couple of nights. Food and drink now very expensive in Belgium. Weather far too hot for our liking and extremely humid - would recommend autumnal holiday for anyone wishing to travel to this part of Europe if they dislike this heat we are all experiencing.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel, very spacious room, in top location, with very friendly service, who provided all assistance needed, and great breakfast. We really enjoyed it!

That there is no door at the bathroom, so not much privacy when using the toilet.

We had a great informative and warm welcome. The scenery of the hotel was outstanding.

Very minor comment; A bit warm during the night but opening the window solved it

    10RobertPosted on: 4-12-2023

We were within walking distance of the historic center of the town. Our room was exceptional with an extremely comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast had a large variety of choices and staff even cooked bacon and eggs. Laurence checked us in and provided excellent customer service.

    Beautiful old mansion.

The GPS couldn't give us correct directions because it's on a one way street, and I had difficulty understanding the directions provided by the hotel.

The hotel is just fantastic. I felt like a queen staying at this place. The room was very spacious, the bed and pillows really comfortable and the bathroom was really big and practically oriented. The breakfast was magnificent, there was a great variety of food. I would definitively recommend it.

From the moment I entered this hotel, I felt a very good impression from the hotel owner couple who greeted me with a very friendly smile and greeting, and I was able to relieve the fatigue of the trip thanks to the beautiful hotel decoration and comfortable bed. Breakfast was one of the best meals we had on this European tour, the hotel staff was very friendly and overall it was a fantastic place. I strongly recommend this hotel!
