    Pros +

    • Excellent location! Very clean, comfortable room and comfortable beds!
    • It was very comfortable. We stayed one night. The bed and bathroom were clean and we felt very at ease here. The town was very close by with nice restaurants.
    • Clean and classy

    Cons -

    • Cigarette smell and smoke outside the entrance
    • car charging only possible via local charging app
    • The breakfast choices were limited especially the cooked options. Scrambled eggs were inconsistent and often rubbery. We were told by a staff member on check in, that the public car park, directly over the road was free to use. However they didn't warn us, that on Sunday that car park was used for the De Ronde race vehicles and our Van would be towed away!!!When I went outside that morning our Van had gone!! The lady on reception was very frank and to the point, "all vehicles in that car park get towed away on race day, didn't you read the signs!!" The signs were in Dutch a language I'm not familiar with. It was clear that the hotel knew about this as it happens every year on this day, so why not warn the guests!! To recover my Van I had to pay euro's 210. A very costly end to our trip which could have been avoided had the hotel staff given me a small piece of local advice!!

Great location. Neat and clean. Friendly staff.

Excellent location close to the centre and all amenities. Friendly staff, quiet, comfortable room. Pleasant bar area and reasonably priced restaurant. Large free public car park right outside with additional secure parking under the hotel if required for small extra charge.

    Larger menu choice.

Good location with free parking in front of the hotel. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable.

On our second morning (Friday 28th March) we came down to breakfast at roughly the same time as the previous day. It was much, much busier (due I believe to a bike race that day) and there was little left of the breakfast buffet and the selection of food left was very limited. There was one bread roll left, 5 or 6 mini pastries, and there was not much left of the cold meats and cheese. I saw scrambled egg being replenished but not much else. This was a shame as the following morning there was a full buffet available when we arrived. I don't know if they were not prepared or had just run out of some items.

Location- centralParking- free in big carpark immediately in front of the hotelRoom- very well equipped and thoughtfully designed.

Breakfast was expensive, €23 each. Used kitchenette fridge in room to store breakfast goods from Delhaize supermarket for the next 2 days. Some rooms don’t have enough foot room past the beds for males- had to refuse a room with bed 1 m 90 cm long between 2 walls.- I am 2 m tall. Room 007. very good!

Decent room, good showerBreakfast... Beneath all expectations.Omelettes made from powder with water, not even freshly made. Sunny side up eggs because of that not even available.

Breakfast, except the coffee below standard.Eggs, boiled were available.I really don't understand that an hotel can economise on breakfast. I payed 155 euro per night. It ruins all the vibes of the stay

The hotel was easy to get to and with a huge and free car park. It was located about 2 minutes walk from the town square which had a few restaurants and some beautiful architecture. The check in was lovely and the room a good size although I always find the warm air heaters a pain to actually warm the room up. The bed was fantastically comfortable, the best sleep I have had for a long time! The room was very quiet too and had a good sized desk and decent wifi.

Breakfast was €22 each which was pricey.

The location is really great, on the Schelde and only ten minutes walks from the center of Oudenaarde. The room was big, well equipped and comfy. The parking for bicycles is really great. And the region is wonderful for cycling.

The carpet in our room was not completely clean, but I can imagine it's not easy to keep it perfect while having muddy cyclists all around ;-)The temperature of the water in the shower was not quite constant, which is not great after a day out cycling in low temperatures. Also the sink wouldn't drain and there was a smell of sewage. The breakfast is very varied, but offers mainly average quality food. We would have preferred less choice, but more quality.

    The room was very clean.

I had the Executive room outside of the hotel, at basement level with door entrance directly from the street. The room was very cold and could not be heated properly just by Air-conditiong uni, the floor was very cold. The bathroom was even colder as does not have its own heating source, you had to leave open the bathroom's door to get some warmth from the main room. This solution is not OK for such price and room level. The main entrance door was very hard to lock, should be fixed. It is not realy pleasant to have entrance in the room directly from the street .

Nice quiet room with comfortable bed. Friendly service.

Nothing really, but breakfast was a bit overcrowded, probably also because of external people coming for a brunch

    9BPosted on: 12-14-2024

Lovely interior with a window that extended. New furnishings. Nice and warm rooms you can enjoy after a long muddy and rainy bike ride. Secure bike parking and central location. Wasn't my first stay and I was quite happy the second time as well.

    Nothing really.

    Close to the town

When we arrived (after 5pm), the rooms had not yet been made. What's worst we were given the keys and only noticed once we entered the rooms that they had not been done.

Comfortable pleasant room, excellent sleep qualityCourteous and professional staff, superb location in a beautiful town, safe storage for our bikes, tea and coffee provided.

    9JeremyPosted on: 9-16-2024

The staff were very helpful, arranging late check-out and looking after our luggage. The bike storage is secure and easily accessible for guests.

Nothing - even the weather was great.
