- The bed is uncomfortable, with a worn-out mattress. The bed linen also left much to be desired, completely torn. Also, there is a lot of noise in the corridors. The outside doors slam loudly, and the bedroom door vibrates, giving the feeling that someone might be entering the room.Regrettable.
- Towels not as comfortable and soft as they used to be.Only one Chair (for 2 people)Very poor selection of tea and coffee no milkOur cups removed after 1st night and they were not replaced?

Proximity & friendly staff & delicious breakfast
No parking inside when we checked in. We park a 300 M ways and dragged our bags to hotel.
Breakfast was good.
Parking was very inconvenient and our room was remarkably small.
Loved this hotel. Perfect for our short vacation. The staff were wonderful, breakfast and coffee were excellent, close to restaurants, walking distance to the palace.
That is hard. There was really nothing we didn’t like. One minor thing that could be better was the shower door wouldn’t close all the way so some water leaked on the bathroom floor. I should have let them know but I forgot. It was very minor.
Location
Bed is very hard. Room is very small. Only place for luggage is under the bed. Shower drain was clogged and smelled like sulpher which made the whole room smell like sulpher when you walked in. Shower soap dispenser fell off the wall and could not get stuck back on as it was fixed on by a sticker back.
It was in a great location. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable. The staff was great.
The A/C in the room was excellent. Best I have experienced in Europe and quiet. It was in the 30s/90s degree heat while we were there. Also they have a room that fits a family of 4 which is always hard to find. Small space but adequate. But most hotel stays in Europe and especially in France are on the smaller side. But we were very comfortable. There was a music festival down the street and we heard nothing from our room. It is an easy walk to the Palace. We walked with our 6 and 10 year old kids. Several great places to eat 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel. And great breakfast on site. We enjoyed our stay very much!
The parking was very tight even for our small car. But it was still nice to have somewhere guaranteed to park.
The rooms were small, but lovely. Very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. The breakfast was a little on the pricey side, however, it was delicious and a good selection of options. We would absolutely stay again if we were visiting the area.
Honestly, there was nothing that I could say I did not like. I may have had personal preferences, but that does not mean that I would say they could improve anything. They were great.
The location was great--walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do in Versailles, and walking distance to the train station. We stayed three nights and trained in to Paris twice. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the staff was excellent, and the room was very good.
The streets were noisy on Friday night until around 23:00.
Excellent location, easy underground parking, 24-hour staffing, excellent air con and blackout curtains.
The rooms are a bit small if you are traveling with multiple late sized luggage. We made do, but just moved the chair to accommodate.
Large double bed was not a large double bed. The room had a dirty drain sewer smell when we entered it each time. The air conditioning stopped at night and would not come on until 5am so we were too hot each night. We asked reception to fix this and they were unable to.
Poor management lets this Mercure down. I was told baloney from beginning to end- it was true Fawlty Towers. Only hotel in my life (of 1000s) that blocks the aircon/heat controls- they told me a series of outright lies by various staff (eg aircon is broken, guests are annoying cos some want hot/ some cold). Other annoyances: bedsheets tiny and dont cover/ tuck under mattress so ends up everywhere; tea station but NO milk (was told baloney again on that); basin tap leaking from lever; basin not draining properly; tiny pillows size of a small pillow; no complimentary drinking water in room; no soap shelf in shower to put stuff. The rooms are small but decoration is newish / clean- spoilt by baloney and lack of customer service attitude.
They warn you, but the parking garage is indeed small, but worked for us. Staff excellent, breakfast decent, but the beds were way too hard and sleep didn't come easy.
Fantastic location. Secure underground parking. Charming helpful friendly staff!!
Was a nice stay. 15 min walk to Versailles Chateau. Comfortable bed.
Was small room but adequate.
The location was excellent, just off the main road that leads to the palace so easy to walk to but quiet. Reception staff were very helpful and tried to get our rooms done early. They also gave us advice on traveling to Paris which saved us a lot of money as a group. The breakfast had everything you could want and it was delicious, a good way to start a day of sightseeing.
