It was close to the shops

The property advertised a good breakfast but the cafeteria was permanently closed. I took my car a Renault Megane (normal size) and was told it was too big and to find parking somewhere on the street. I parked in the supermarket and bought myself breakfast.

Great location, near downtown and with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Don't miss the visit to the medieval castle, La Mota.

The location was decent and the staff were nice.

The description of the hotel on booking does not match the reality. There is no spa and the bar and restaurant were permanently closed. I had booked a room with breakfast and on arrival was give a token to use at a local cafe/bar which was an 8 minute walk from the hotel. Had I been informed when I booked the room I would not have selected a room and paid extra for breakfast. As we never used the token. Moreover the reception is only manned from 1400 until 2200. Out with these timings there are no staff members on the premises. My husband and I had travelled for over 16 hours and despite informing the hotel of the time we would be arriving, we still had to call and wait outside the hotel before gaining entry to our room.

The hotel was under renovation and looked closed upon arrival there was a a number to call for hotel access was not informed of this before arrival

Staff at reception were excellent, especially Anna who couldn't have been more helpful and cheerful.

Bedroom noise was troublesome with noise from traffic. No air conditioning on.

The location was good and easy to find

The room was exceedingly hot and the a/c very noisy making it difficult to sleep. It was disappointing that the restaurant was closed as we had had a long journey and was hoping to eat there. It was a pity not to have been informed of this at the time of booking.

Heating in room during a cold snap. Comfortable beds.

Breakfast off-site, several minutes away. No coffee making ability in room.

The location is good for me therefore I always choose here to stay.

The restaurant has been closed, no food is provided even the breakfast! Went out in the morning for breakfast and could not even come back to room because the main door is locked, and the other door's entrance pad was failure.

no facility to make a cup of tea; fridge hadn’t be cleaned out properly - there was a half eaten tub of ice cream in it.

The hotel is in a great location, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff sent me details on how to access the hotel and it all went very smoothly.

There didn't seem to be an option for breakfast, and if there was the cafe wasn't open early in the morning. Could do with plug sockets at the side of the bed.

The hotel is in an ideal location for access to the town.

There was nobody on reception at any time during our stay. I have stayed at this hotel in the past so knew my way around but for anyone who has not stayed before it would be difficult.

Location is ok, room was clean

Upon arrival and despite a confirmed booking there was nobody from the Hotel at all and you have to wait outside and making phone calls in Spanish only to get in. They are sending you useless videos via WhatsApp with incorrect Access codes only to enter the building and in our case finally the cleaning Lady helped us out. During our entire stay there was no staff nor service at all. This can hardly be called a Hotel -Never again!

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and there was heating, which needed as it was cold in Alcalá during our stay.

First of all, there was dog muck on the pavement right outside the hotel doors, which remained there throughout our stay. That's not acceptable. The corridors were very poorly lit, and there were some strange inclines on some of the floors which tripped us up at times.The television in the room was so tiny that it was difficult to see when lying in bed.Our room had no window to the street, but only to an interior courtyard, which was annoying. Even worse, there appeared to be people living full-time in the hotel who used the small courtyard to hang out their laundry.The hotel seemed practically empty, so I have no idea why were put in that particular room.There are no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, which I accept is normal in Spain, but neither was there a coffee machine within the hotel. Alcalá was very quiet during our visit, and the hotel café had very shortened hours. Many of the bars in the town have gone out of business or were not open, so we often struggled to get a drink of any sort.

Staff very kind and professional, very clean room, very comfortable bed. Excelen location.

Our room was interior on the first floor with very small window.
