Sun Beach Lindos

Here I am writing this on a rainy, cold September day remembering my holiday......Sigh. I liked the sea - clear, warm water. The staff were friendly which gave the resort a relaxed vibe. I enjoyed the food in the all inclusive, and I think there were great options for vegetarians. The room was sparse but clean, the internet wasn't bad, and the air conditioning was super! The location was close to shops and a few bars and restaurants. Yannis at the reception desk was very kind and helpful, and in one instance where we needed something, it came quickly. If you are expecting the Hilton, you will be disappointed - I mean you can't buy champagne with beer money. But if you are looking for a relaxing, budget holiday, Sun Beach Lindos is definitely good value for money!

The only thing i didn't like was the condition of the sunbeds. there weren't enough of them and some of them were broken - Still it didn't bother us too much. We managed to get a couple of beds everyday and they were quite comfortable.

The room is ok but the water was cold and had a salt and sewage smell We went the first night had dinner at the buffet and there were only 5 choices , got so sick from the food couldn’t move the next few days We left the same night we checked in and returned the keys the next day

Lovely place! We came here for the third time for a relaxing holiday. Nice private beach enough space for everyone, good food with variety and kind personnel!Rooms are renovated and cleaned everyday. Really good deal. Hopefully we will be back next year.

Some guests are taking bathroom towels to the beach, some action should be taken against this by the management.

Everything was perfect, minibar and dancing area, mini shop, beach with umbrellas, restaurant all together on one place, well organised and clean, perfect holiday for perfect value

Good beach, clean sea, there is a water sports center on the beach of the neighboring hotel, including windsurfing. Affordable price.

Old, washed-out towels. Including torn ones. We had to ask several times to change them for more or less normal ones. There is no liquid soap or gel in the room. The food is quite poor. Meat is often in the form of burgers. Dessert is usually of two types: some kind of cream and pastries, like brownies (and ice cream). Fruits - sliced ​​pears, oranges, apples. There were never any watermelons, melons, peaches, grapes. The water that was poured from the tap in the bar and restaurant was undrinkable. It tasted like water from a swimming pool. The wine is also of very low quality. We bought both water and wine in the supermarket. We also bought fruit there. Wine and drinkware - plastic cups. Several times we went to dinner at a neighboring hotel for an additional fee. When choosing a hotel, we proceeded from a good location, attractive prices and good reviews. But we were disappointed. It is better to pay more and rest in normal conditions.

Beautiful beach , beautiful gardens , nice staff, food plentiful , English breakfast good, varied lunch evening meals .

I feel it lacked a good handy man . He walked round all day doing nothing with a drill in his hand playing on his phone . When things needed attention ie plywood in corners of pool , air con units

Great location on the beach, nice food, great staff. It was our second visit and hope we come again.

Great location, amazing beach and the amazing staff, particularly the best waiter and bartender Vagelis! We had so much fun. I guess it depends on your expectations and what’s important to you. We were big group of friends. We didn’t have high expectations and this place exceeded it. Weather was great! Food and coffee was good, and drinks ok. Staff was hardworking and clear tables quickly.There are plenty of stores and you can buy drinks,snacks etc. The beach is better with mature trees, free umbrellas and sunbeds compared to the 4 and 5 stars hotels next door with no mature trees.It’s For the price difference you can afford to go out for drinks or dinner. Beds could be bigger and few things changed in rooms, but again considering the price, was good.

There is a nice beach available for the gusset, open air restaurant and amazing live shows during the week. Also, the location is great, you can easily visit Lindos for about 10/15 min with a car. Great value for the money.

The water and the refreshments included were not as great as they should be. Also, there plastic cups for alcohol? Not good.

There are many things we did not enjoy about this hotel. Mainly, it is just a family hotel. They advertise an adult-only pool but it is full of children at all times. I mentioned it to staff however nothing was done. It was not safe for children as there is no life guard and children were at the adult pool unsupervised at times. Kids ran rampant around all the hotel at all times. Food was not good: bang average low quality food. Water is salty, so you have to buy your own. Drinks are all made with this water, so even your coffee is salty. The sun beds on the beach have two types of mattresses on them - squeaky thin leathery or mouldy ones. We stayed there for 7 nights and our towels and sheets were changed only once. Wine is awful - beer is ok.

I was a bit worried then I read other comments regarding the food and drinks, but it exceeded my expectations. It's not Turkey's AI food as many probably would expect, but plenty to choose from and for breakfast, and for lunch, and for dinner. During the day you can drink locally produced wine and beer, soft drinks - unlimited amount. I was travelling with my kids - no complains from them that no food to eat. What my kids liked most - ice cream for lunch and dinner- unlimited amount. Regarding the rooms- all nice, renovated, rooms cleaned every day. Good (free) air-conditioning. Fast reaction from the staff to any request. Additionally help to organize transfer to the airport. Small pool for kids - just with no shade (would be nice to have it) and no slide as in the photo, but kids loved it, bigger pool for adults. Beach - very nice clean water. Enough sunbeds for all travelers. Every second night there's a show for the guests. There's a children's playground with climbing frames for the kids - good to play for kids in the evenings. Since hotel isn't too big, everything is very convenient, quiet and relaxing. I'm already planning to send my mom with kids there in the autumn.

The hotel is clean, with private beach with water sports and also most of the nights they had entertainment like fire show or music. The staff is very polite and helpfull.

We didnt really like the buffet menu so even though we paid for all inclusive most of the nights we were eating outside of the hotel

Sea was great hotel was bu the sea. Cleaning was not so good. Hotel changed towels three day in one. Food was avarage. But water was terrible. We couldn’t drink. We bought it from market. Rooms were so comfartable and cleaned for daily but Them didn’t change sheet it was too hot would be better to change daily. Hotel was quiet. Garden was good in front of pür room.

The food was okay, would be nice to have more choices. The staff was great, always in help. Location was good, with shops outside the street.

The room was old and didnt look anything like the photos. Have been fighting with a lot of ants coming in.

The rooms are newly decorated and very modern. Bed was comfortable and the staff were really friendly. It's close to a few bars, shops and restaurants and has good transport links to busier towns, such as pefkos and lindos.

The rooms were only cleaned every 3 days and that's the only time they change the towels in the rooms. The food is very limited and not much choice for children at any meal time, bar chips at lunch.

The accommodation has a direct waterfront, the use of sunbeds was free. The staff was very nice, polite and helpful. We were at the very end of the season, and despite the few guests, we thought the service was adequate. The room had a separate balcony.

The TV was placed a little high in the room. The sound insulation of the front door is not very good.

Nice beachfront hotel with very delicious food. Friendly staff. Great beach with trees on it. Clean sea water. Very calm and beautiful place. Great sea view from our terrace.

The rooms are not very luxury, but we didn’t mind cause we were staying all day at the wonderful beach, travelling or eating great food.
