About

Simple, laid-back and effortlessly chic, Caesars Gardens Hotel & Spa is an oasis of strictly adults-only tranquility where the impeccable service and stunning scenery guarantee an unforgettably relaxing stay. The hotel’s low-rise whitewashed buildings are surrounded by craggy hills, Mediterranean gardens and the electric-blue Aegean Sea. The rocky landscape encases the property, sheltering the soporific serenity within from the outside world. The interiors are unmistakably Aegean in aspect, with a warm and inviting mod-bohemian style where locally crafted furnishings adorn elegantly rustic rooms and suites, all of which are equipped with 43" Smart TV, Illy Espresso Machine and tea-making facilities. Similarly low-key is the vibe at The Magnolia Spa, an immaculate outdoor wellness center where locally sourced ingredients and local wisdom come together to create life-enhancing treatments in the fragrant, peaceful gardens. Toast to your holiday with a fine-dining experience and distinguished local wines at Tárate Restaurant, where meals express a modern distinct Mediterranean flavor inspired by the surrounding terrain and the hotel's on-site farm. Located 0.6 mi away from the historic village of Lindos and 0.9 mi from the main beach and St. Pauls Bay, Caesars Gardens Hotel & Spa offers proximity to every major attraction. Rhodes Town and Rhodes International airport are 31 mi away.

    Pros +

    • Nicely decorated hotel in a quiet area with large rooms and amazing view of the mountain ridge, the sea and the Acropolis. Large and comfortable bed. The service was attentive and helpful and the breakfast very delicious and varied.
    • Very chilling great setting
    • Lovely location with great facilities and very peaceful setting. Food was excellent and friending serving staff who were all helpful.

    Cons -

    • Wifi was unstable at best. Unfortunate as mobile coverage was poor in the area. The bar charged the highest price we have ever experienced in any country. Unsurprisingly, the hotel became quite empty in the evening as everyone went out for cheaper drinks and food.
    • Very clean breakfast was delicious
    • There was a bit of a walk to the centre of Lindos but more than offset by the peaceful setting away from the madding crowd.

Beautiful Boutique style hotel. Lovely , tranquil location. Very relaxed atmosphere . Fantastic staff and wonderful food.

    Nothing!

We loved our stay at Caesars Garden Hotel & Spa. It's a beautiful hotel with really friendly staff and great service. We loved the swimming pool and the garden area. You could see the acropolis from our room which was a bonus!

The wifi was quite intermittent which I didn't care about (switching off from reality) but might be an issue for others. I think it was just an issue at the time.

The property was stunning. An oasis in the mountains with a lush garden and beautiful decor! The staff was absolutely the best. They paid attention to the details and service was excellent. The food at the restaurant was the best we had the whole trip.

    Nothing. Everything was great.

Great locationLovely breakfastsNice sized hotelNice decor, but lots of it quite pointless (a dressing table with mirror would have been useful - rather than lots of pointless tables and chairs in the room)Within walking distance of Lindos - a beautiful old town with lots of great restaurantsMost of the staff friendly, though some quite off-ish

    - Catered for smokers - smoking allowed everywhere, even at breakfast! Not what I'd expect from a hotel saying it's focused on wellness! When I asked if there were no smoking sun beds I was told I needed to move, or sit on an uncomfortable chair in the corner!- Hotel is advertised as 'tranquil' but wasn't - what we thought would be the 'quiet area' (jacuzzi area with no music) was dependent on other guests being considerate... and they often weren't (FaceTime calls, listening to music without headphones, loud talking etc). Suggest the hotel put up signage to ensure the 'tranquillity' they market the hotel on.- 'Spa' is misleading - comprising a hut that did treatments. Massage was nice but no-one thought to put curtains up so lying in the very hot sun in oil not ideal. - Air con didn't work very well in our room and bed/pillows very uncomfortableTrying hard to be a wellness hotel but missing the mark - a case of form over function, but could be great if management take the above into account

This hotel is amazing. I loved everything about it. We got upgraded on arrival which really made our holiday and we were so grateful. The decor/atmosphere at the hotel is perfect for relaxation - it feels high end but still comfortable and not at all stuck up. The staff make you feel really at home and were all great. The private pool bungalows were amazing for couples- if we came back I would try and stay in one again for sure. The main pool area is lovely, so clean and well thought out. Definitely enough sun beds for all guests at once if needed which I loved. Secondary area with large jacuzzi pool set in gardens is also lovely. If you are considering this place but are wondering if it is worth the bit extra money it really is.

People mention several things in other reviews that I agree with, yes there is a bit of a walk to Lindos itself, but this is easily done if you have good mobility and we actually quite enjoyed the walk after a meal. There is definitely a rooster which does crow early in the morning but you get used to it after 1 night and the hotel is worth this and any other slight negative there might be is well outweighed by the positives about this hotel.

Loved that it was a small boutique hotel - never felt busy and it was so quiet. You could always get a sunlounger, the food was excellent and staff very attentive. The location is perfect, it’s away from all the busy areas so feels really secluded but it is very easy to walk down to Lindos. The rooms are very stylish, with everything you’d need for your holiday, and you could never hear any of the other rooms. Would absolutely recommend and will visit again.

The owner visited a few times in the week I was staying and he’s a very loud man - it’s nice that he greets his staff well but he didn’t think that guests are here to relax and not be disturbed by loud greetings and discussions.

Don’t know where to start this was amazing. Location great. The pool was one of the best This boutique hotel excelled. Staff excellent and helpful. Rooms super clean and spacious and well decorated. The grounds of the property so well designed and just beautiful.Didn’t want to leave tbh would come back here over and over again. Don’t stay anywhere else. Best boutique hotel

I’m obsessed with this place. I would recommend it to anyone that goes to Rhodes , great location in lindos, amazing staff . They gave us a welcome drink at the entrance - we always had where to park the car

There’s nothing to say . Just one day I could hear some girls in the upper floor screaming like crazy . But was just one night

The breakfasts were fantastic. The staff were attentive and friendly. The pool areas were stylish and well-maintained and the bedrooms were just perfect.

Lindos itself was not our preferred type of location but as we were staying for two days we didn't really need to explore much. We did go to the acropolis one evening.

Caesars Gardens was exactly what we were looking for in terms of relaxation and quietness. Although located a short walk from the town centre (yes there's a hill but it's quite subjective as we had no issue with the walk), this hotel offered so much peace away from the crowd that seems to hit Lindos day and night. Our room was incredibly comfortable and luxurious, it offered plenty of space for a couple. The whole staff (from reception, cleaning team and restaurant staff) was extremely friendly and accommodating as well. Also, thumbs up for the free library. Overall, this was a truly high quality hotel for guests seeking a luxurious and romantic getaway. Note: we didn't use the spa, so we cannot comment on it.

I would agree that breakfast could be replenished to cater for guests showing a bit late in the morning but still within the breakfast hours. Also, it is true that the lunch/dinner/snacks menus are extremely expensive and therefore off-putting for most guests who would prefer to go to the supermarkets nearby to stock up with food and snacks. I would definitely recommend the hotel to review their pricing.

The hotel was lovely, the room was fantastic and the staff were great.

The WiFi was shockingly bad, you could barely (and sometimes not all) load a simple web-page in your room. When you're paying for such a nice resort, and when you want to relax in the room you are paying for, you'd expect that the WiFi would work in the room and be excellent. This severely hurt my trip as I wanted to relax in my room and couldn't because I couldn't use any of my devices. The main restaurant could do with a couple more fans for how hot it is!

    10DanchapmanPosted on: 8-11-2024

The rooms are a great size and really comfortable. Staff are friendly and there for everything you need. Food at breakfast was great, and while we only had lunch once this was really nice too. There was also a relaxing pool area with no rush for sunbeds even if you came late, I saw nobody putting towels on sunbeds early which is common at most hotels.

A little out of the way, the walk back from town can be tough even at night!

Gorgeous hotel, comfy bed. Breakfast was a la cart

Walk to the beach was 20 mins and in the august heat it was very hot

The hotel really exceeded our expectations. We arrived late at night and we were greeted with welcome drink, check in was smooth and quick. The bungalow that we stayed at was exceptionally clean and the A/c was on when we arrived which we really appreciated. The idea of how they serve breakfast is beyond impressive. The food super delicious. The service over all is in extreme high standards. I had birthday during our stay and my partner went to speak with reception to surprise me and just under 3 hours notice, when we came back from dinner, I found flowers, Prosecco and fruit platter in our room.

Dreamy environment, beautifully maintained gardens, calm and relaxing atmosphere. I wish we chose the room with a private pool, that would be ultimate honeymoon experience.

Overall we liked everything and would like to comeback, I just need to second that golf car transfer from the city would be really nice as going up the mountain after nice dinner isn’t very cool experience.Breakfast quality also was not as high as we expected but it was okay, however this was holding us back from trying dinner choices as the prices were quite high we did not want to risk it.Lastly, our upstair neighbors were pretty loud which was annoying but I guess there is not much to do with sound isolation to improve it.

    very clean and friendly staff

I liked most things, the only dislike if anything would probably be the food and drink prices

The whole setting of Caesar’s is amazing! The staff were amazing and nothing was too much. Beautiful rooms, the pool was lovely and breakfast was fresh and made to order. I can’t fault it, we absolutely loved our stay.

    Can’t fault it.
