    Pros +

    • The balcony was large and had a good view along the coast. The breakfast selection was quite good.If you have a car then this location is quite a good base for exploring Tinos.
    • This hotel deserves 4 stars and not 3. The people who work there are excellent, location and facilities are amazing, and the price per night is incredible for what it provides. One of my favorite hotels ever.
    • Service from hotel staff, pickup at ferry, breakfast.

    Cons -

    • Since the furniture is all made out of stone there is not much storage. Our room was high on the North end of the hotel and was rather exposed to the Meltimi wind.
    • Only thing I would improve, is the food in the restaurant.
    • Hotel location remote, requires car or use of taxi (20 min walk to edge of port/town. Room assigned had limited 'ocean view'. Would not pay for 'ocean view' there again. A lot of steep steps/stairs up up to our room. Limited hand holds. Without help with our luggage we could not have done it. Not much going on near/around hotel. Again, hotel somewhat remote. Pool had limited access, spa was CLOSED! Useless to us.

Lovely room, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and overall very pleased with the whole experience. Would recommend 100% especially if travelling with kids.

    8EleasPosted on: 9-21-2024

Great staff, good breakfast, large balconies to enjoy the views, and large comfortable room.

The rooms do not have power outlets close to bedside to plug and charge electronics (tablets, phones, etc.)

    9PhilipPosted on: 9-20-2024

The breakfast was very good with a wide choice.

It was a bit isolated from other amenities,it would benefit Io have own car or moped.

I loved the village vibe to it. Not too far from the town but far enough for a relaxing getaway.

I can’t think of anything bad to be honest, but I would have liked some cocktails in the menu especially by the pool. Not many alcoholic beverages

The facilities were nice. Spacious room but Basic.

Needs an update. Tv not working well. Complications with the reservations. Room photos not 100% corespondent to the actual thing you get like new etc etc.

Wow this was absolutely stunning. I believe it has a new owner who has been doing the property up which you can tell with the modern rattan style furnishing, lighting and soft furnishings. Built to resemble a Greek village it’s in a lovely setting away from the main town but an easy, short taxi ride for €6.50 or there were a couple of local restaurants near the beach about a 10 min walk away in either direction or you could eat at the hotel and food was very good as we ate lunch there one day. Lovely large bedroom and balcony area (we were room 6 which was an upper floor)Several seating areas around the propertyGood size fridge and a safe

Nothing specific other than a minor point that the mirror at the dressing table area was slightly too high to use if seated so I had to stand when drying my hair but that’s a minor point.

Excellent place. We had a very nice room with big terrace and everything we needed. the hotel is in walking distance from the sea. Very kind staff.

    7AlanPosted on: 6-24-2024

Staff were superb. Beautiful pool and communal areas.

Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be nice - they were included in the Booking.com description but none were provided.Room was noisy due to high winds - not the hotel's fault but made sleeping difficult. Lots of steep steps with big suitcases made it difficult in high winds too.Restaurant menu quite limited and the bar closed around 10.30pm each evening - much too early.Jacuzzi out of action which was a shame.

Perfect location , very quiet and close to an excellent beach. The walk into the town was a comfortable 20 stroll. All of the staff were helpful and friendly.

There was nothing not to like. Worth noting the hotel doesn't have restaurant facilities or outdoor jacuzzi until June.

This hotel was the best part of our visit to Tinos. The location was perfect. Close to town but quiet and so picturesque from our room 6.The views from our balcony were of the distant water with ships passing. Could walk to Sandy beaches and 2 of the best restaurants on the island. All The staff including Liza at reception went well beyond their role to make our friends wedding anniversary so special. And when we asked if they had playing cards and didn’t, apparently the manager sourced a new deck for us!The pool was pristine, breakfasts extensive, beds so comfortable, great shower, everything immaculate. Even the shampoo and conditioner were top rate!Thank you all staff at Anthea for your smiling faces that gave us a very special stay.

    10AngiePosted on: 6-4-2024

Staff was amazingly kind and helpful. They treated us like we were family and made our stay the perfect getaway. Rooms were tastefully decorated and well positioned for privacy. We had a great sea view and enjoyed our patio area. Clean and spacious. Great breakfast too.

    10KimPosted on: 5-18-2024

Excellent customer service always smiling, friendly and helpful. Great room spotless fantastic view steady walk into town. Best recommendation is that we will return in 2025.?

    5EleniPosted on: 5-8-2024

Excellent location, very polite and helpful staff, nice swimming pool area, spacious family room

The room was not properly cleaned. There were also several malfunctions (the door lock was hard to open, the safety box didn’t work/ had run out of battery, the telephone didn’t work, the wardrobe had an unpleasant smell) which were not fixed during our stay. Breakfast buffet was good but pretty basic and almost the same every day.

    2CassandraPosted on: 10-9-2023

Doesn’t look as nice as the photos, no spa to speak of (I was told the jacuzzi and Hammam were both broken on arrival, with no compensatory gestures

The towels and bedding were not high quality and were all stained
