Cons -
- The stairs. After a day of walking up and down the hills of Assisi, I found the stairs to the hotel very tiring.
- A bit difficult to get to especially with luggage. Stairs to get to the hotel and stairs to the room was a challenge for me especially with luggage.
- Lights went out about 1700 for an hour or so however back on.

Just wanted to say how much I loved the medieval Assisi vibe throughout the place. It truly made the experience special. Also, having the kitchen available all the time was such a great touch—especially those cookies and the hot water. Totally fantastic!
If you’re someone who travels light, this option is perfect for you. It’s designed to be convenient and easy to manage without the hassle of bulky luggage. However, if you tend to carry bigger pieces of luggage, this might not be the best fit since it won’t accommodate your needs as well.
Stefano the owner was very helpful and there was a lovely lady serving a great breakfast . Perfect location and the room was lovely .. fllower named Fresia!
Location
The rude staff in the breakfast table (woman), i knew beforehand people who reviewed warned me already about this “breakfast” lady, but out of 6 months (4 trips in total) of travelling in Italy first time I encountered this, i know life is hard now but dont throw your problems to the guests!! You can say politely not shout like we are uneducted people!! you give a bad taste of your country!!
It was in a great location. The rooms were clean.
I say this not so much as a complaint but for information, the steps are steep and narrow, but we were in Assisi so that must be expected. The rooms were small but again not so much complaining just mentioning for information for future travelers.
What a beautiful building and amazing location! They accommodated storing our bags so we could explore the next day. Extremely helpful and friendly. Very nice breakfast.
Close to downtown
Camera in the room and very steep steps
I liked the position, the breakfast, the kindness of the personnel, the view from the window, the size of the room
The shower, which is open. There is no division with the rest of the bathroom. But it's not a big thing for a few days.
The staff went out of their way to help when I needed to borrow an adaptor. They were friendly and made great expresso in the morning.
The canned pineapple.
Great location, communication was easy to arrange self check in. Room had everything we needed. Communal area on the top floor provided great views and was a nice place to sit during the evening. Good breakfast.
Nothing, it was all good!
everything one needs to spend a few days in this lovely city: the hotel has a great location, very quiet inside and outside, nice room with a beautiful view.
just one detail: the bathroom could have a curtain to keep the floor from getting wet.
Was a great location in the middle of Assissi, Good breakfast and tea station. Room was warm and had everything I needed for which I am grateful
The location was perfect, just a few steps away from San Rufino church and the local bars and restaurants
The wet room wasn’t ideal, perhaps a style of curtain or sliding door could make the bathroom not get wet all around
Good central in a nice old building near the central square with helpful staff. The icing on the cake was afternoon tea, though admittedly self service. It was very good value for money and I would recommend it.
Hotel Pallotta was lovely and warm which was welcome in February. It was easy to pop back in the middle of the day and there was a kettle to make tea, The enclosed balcony upstairs overlooking Assisi was a very comfortable bonus.
The bathroom is in a wet room style which made the whole bathroom wet when you showered. You had to dry the floor and the toilet seat after that. Towels were replaced each day so it was only a strange but minor inconvenience,
close to the center; great location.
Nothing; except shower is in an open small bathroom and
roof top is very chilled breakfast is variety location is very closed to the center
during the check in a lack of information of the facilities
We were at the heart of Assisi. Sometimes, we stopped in our hotel to go to the toilet between visits, as it was always near the main points. The bed sheets and towels were spotless and white, impeccable. On top of that, the possibility of accessing the dining area at any time made our stay much smoother. We arrived late and could still eat something before sleeping; another day, we drank tea before bed. Lastly, the team working there is super friendly and helpful. Stefano was a super host during our stay. We would come back.
