Great location and right in the heart of Assisi. A very quiet place.

Location was great as it is just steps away from the Basilica of St Francis

Directions to the parking lot was not so clear and driving through the crowded street (filled with pedestrians) was harrowing. There was no reception on duty and no place to stop to drop off the luggage. The room was very small and "dated" and needs an overhaul.

Nice staff, great location, just what I needed for my pilgrimage visit to Assisi.

Proximity to the church

Beds were hard. No A/C - No way to get outside air. Felt like a dungeon. Room had zero sunlight and a very dim fan light.

Great location, 2 min walk to Saint Francis church. Easy walk through the rest of town. Lovely bar next door.

Plumbing odours, resolved eventually. Fair bit of noise from street below.

There was no breakfast offered.

There was no staff on site when we stayed at the hotel. Staff came in the second morning to collect a cash tax payment, which I was not aware I owed.

The location was very nice, I mean, you can’t be at both sides of the town at the same town, I’ve been staying by Piazza Del commune I the past, but I really enjoyed being so close to St Francis, it looks stunning at night and was a real gift go for Laudes and visit the tomb at 6:45 am when it was completely alone.Breakfast was a very basic Italian Breakfast but really good quality. And Martha, the kind woman who helped us with breakfast was very sweet and hard working lady, all the details were taken care of.

Well, the rooms are in the small size and the insulation is not the best, but the good was much better .

The location was perfect! Near the Basilica, restaurants and shops ?

The hotel is just across the street from the Basilica of San Francesco, a very convenient location. The room has everything you need. The staff let us put our bags in the lobby when we explored the town the next day, which was very nice of them.

I have been blessed to travel Italy extensively and Assisi is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been !!! This hotel is right in the heart of all the action. The hotel is above street level and you can open your windows and people watch !! Breakfast is good and the bed is large comfortable!! God Bless !!

Location perfect

Great location for the St Francis cathedral

Nothing about this hotel let me think they were happy that I was there… I never received the code to get in the door so I rang the bell and finally a man came by and told me to use the code! I said I didn't have one and he just walked away and never returned. I sent a message and stood there for around 20 minutes before they finally sent the code to open the door. Horrible way to start a mediocre visit.

Its proximity to the Basilica is fantastic. It’s also close to the parking lot to which I could also walk easily with baggage because there were no stairs.

The posted notices are misleading. Breakfast hours are given but I went down two flights of stairs only to find there was no service. It’s said there’s reception all day, but I only saw someone at the front desk twice momentarily and by chance. I had to leave at 6:15 one morning and the hallway and stairs were in total darkness; there are no switches on the walls. Incredible! Imagine what would happen if there were a fire. No elevator and there are no ground floor rooms. You have to go up stairs to the entrance. I have bad knees and a bad back; on arrival, after lugging my baggage up the stairs, the hotel door was locked and there was no one at the front desk. I hadn’t been sent a code, Then my phone battery died. Finally I rang the so-called night bell and eventually someone came to the front door. (On a positive note, that woman took my suitcase to my room.) However she was always glum when and if I did see her and seemed concerned that I would lose the room key and steal something from the refrigerator. The room was the tiniest I have ever seen; the hotel reeked of cleaning products. Luckily there was a window that could be opened and a room fan. I’ll never stay there again and would recommend to all elderly or handicapped people not to go there either.

Location is very good

The room for 4 people was very hot. The small AC can not cool the space and was difficult to sleep. Low signal of internet in this room.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Asissi, a songs throw from the nails of St Frances.. there are lovely little shops and restaurants close by. The host was lovely, friendly and helpful. A little gem in the heart of a city.
