Uniquely designed hotel with vast gardens and orchards. Views that never end, each room has its own personality. So much to see and do on the property and so very convenient to everything Assisi. How soon can we go back?

Loved everything about this unique luxury property

The hotel is siutuated just beneath magnificient Assisi Cathedral and the whole property is simply fabulous. The service is excellent as is breakfast. The receptionist was really kind and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The bar offers great cocktails with generous snacks.

Everything was perfect.

The cooling system was excellent during our stay in the warm weather, and the beds were comfortable and clean. The location and gardens were beautiful, with many fresh ingredients sourced directly from their own garden.

The breakfast offering was quite limited, and we were surprised to find that even small additions came with an extra charge. Compared to the other four-star hotels we visited in Italy, this felt unusually restrictive.

We LOVED it here! The grounds were lovely and the scenery just stunning! Every detail was perfection, I felt like I was walking in a dream! Beyond beautiful. So glad we chose to celebrate our 25th anniversary here. We took advantage of the restaurant and massage services. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer!

Bed was very firm but not a deal breaker.

The breakfast was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful.

The land is very hilly so a lot of stairs which are not suitable for individuals with mobility issues. Stairs going up to sleeping area were dangerous. A manual specifying where items are located and information about how things operate would have been helpful. Locating the hair dryer upstairs in a drawer seems counterintuitive considering the bathroom is down stairs. Our room was next to the road so opening up the window to allow air in to cool the place also allowed in road noise and odors.

Rooms could use air conditioning

Staff were amazing, rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous and the views are spectacular. Would absolutely return here if we're in the area again.

The seemed to be a lack of options for lunch, this seemed to be a thing with a number of the hotels in the area, I founf it odd. When we did mange to get lunch, it was awesome.

Hosted our wedding guests as overflow at this hotel. Gorgeous and lovely. Very very good hotel- they just need to get their less formal lobby restaurant in order so it’s operational regularly.

Bar and snack menu is good but the on site restaurant is not run by the hotel and whilst it's OK there are better options locally.

Hotel was beautiful.

Restaurants were both closed which put a pretty big damper on the trip. The hotel did make us aware a few days before we arrived but I think it would’ve been a much easier stay if the restaurants were open as it was 10 minute taxi to the center of Assisi and cost about €20 each time.

The location was wonderful. Bruno was an amazing host and catered to all of our needs,including restaurant suggestions. Which were excellent. The room was beautiful and had the most amazing private terrace. Breakfast was fantastic and included lots of delicious options! The fridge was stocked with drinks and room had amazing A/C. The bed was comfortable and the bathe was stocked with amenities. The wi-if was good. Bruno even organized a car to take us to the airport for an early morning flight and it was seamless. I would HIGHLY recommend to book this small boutique hotel. Perfection.

Location. Character. Bed linens. Breakfast was delicious including omelet.

Lady at reception on arrival was not welcoming. #6 is 2 level (bathroom on main level, bed in loft above accessed via circular stairs). Not ideal. Should have told us that and given options while at reception (it was not fully booked). It was raining and we didn’t want to endure the weather and steps to get to our building in order to make a change. To use steam and sauna for 90 mins was Euro 45 per person.

Nice countryside view and nice breakfast and lounge area barkeep and staff.

The ceiling was not sound proofed, every step from the room above was heard. Not good.

The location is perfect…. just below the Basilica. It is quiet, secluded and beautiful. The staff is outstanding; friendly and helpful. The grounds are magnificent. The breakfast is delicious and the restaurant for dinner is outstanding.

The gentlemen in charge of the bar and at breakfast went above and beyond the call of duty for us. A lovely man who totally understood customer service. And so beautifully mannered. Exceptional. And a great location. Really nice friendly guy on reception as well. We will be back next year ?

Room a little on the dark side (room 10)

Drive through an olive orchard up to the property that sits below Assisi. The view of Assisi up the hill is amazing. The room's walls are stone, so quaint, so beautiful. Room is large, with short stairs leading out to the backyard. In front of room is a beautiful grassy garden common area that lights up at night with lounge chairs and coffee tables looking up at the church. Really, really well done. Beautiful property. Restaurant and bar on site. Purchased room with garden view and up the hill looking at Assisi and church, BUT ... the bushes were overgrown in back and blocked the view. So no view. However, step out of my room in the front and walk out to the grassy garden and you would have the view from there, so there is a saving grace. Nice breakfast in the glass bar area. Strong Wi-Fi, good shower, big room, parking. Excellent stay, amazing view of Assisi.

A beautiful property outside of town with an amazing view looking up at the convent. Small hotel with only 12 rooms (each room was a sign of the zodiac) very peaceful. Breakfast was nice and staff were all friendly.

Room was very small and AC wasn’t super cold.

Gorgeous setting. Delicious food and drink

Service was pretty bad from the second we arrived. We weren’t allowed to arrive before check in even though we were happy to wait for our room, then our room wasn’t ready with information provided in our booking. We weren’t given pool towels and when we asked they said they would bring some but they never did.
