This hotel is a little gem. A great location just outside the Porta Nuova. A quick walk to all the sights and restaurants. The staff was so kind and personable, especially Pablo who directed us to his favorite local restaurant where we enjoyed the best meal we had in Italy. Breakfast was lovely. This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Hotel Porta Nuova and I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Assisi

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Porta Nuova. It was very close to the center of Assisi, the staff was very friendly, the room (though small) was very clean and cozy. The breakfast was good. We would gladly stay here again.

-Amenities in the room at the minimum (only shampoo, hair cream).-Rooms are on a noisy traffic and car smog street. -We slept in a 3 single beds room. Beds are narrow and not comfortable. -breakfast with NO local pastries (lots of stuff, but everything is pre-package). Italy is known for its local gorgeous local pastries, but none of it served.-You have to pay to use their parking, and this information is really hidden on Booking.com info, not clear description about it.

Location is very good close to the Basilica’s, shops and restaurants within walking distance from the Hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they provided information on the sites and bus routes. The breakfast is excellent with a lot of variety and option. The hotel is very family friendly with a playroom for children. The view is spectacular from the front of the Hotel!

We can’t say enough about this property! The location was great, right outside the city entrance. Susanna checked us in and we ended up staying an additional night. The price is incredible and we were given a map of the city, with restaurants listed along with historic sites of interest. The restaurants recommended gave us an additional 10% off because of hotel. The room is spotless. We had a terrace and the bathroom is gorgeous. Breakfast was amazing ! Will stay again upon our return to Assisi.

Perfect location, very clean and comfortably furnished rooms. The receptionist was very nice, she showed and explained everything to us.
The breakfast could be a little richer, but you can buy anything in the town.
Clean, good breakfast, friendly staff called a cab for us and let us drop off our bags to continue exploring Assisi after we checked out. The room was very comfortable and clean, and wifi was perfect for me to do some work on my laptop. Close enough to the city center for a short walk, but far enough away from most of the tourism so that it's quiet. Will definitely stay here again.
