Pros +
- Wonderful friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. Felt very safe walking on the evening.
- Friendly staff, clean, simple rooms provided everything necessary for a pleasant night, breakfast was lovely. Close proximity to the Portiuncula and the train station was a plus! I had a lovely stay and look forward to coming back!
- Stefano, maître d'hôtel, was extremely helpful and nice. He helped arrange last-minute meals and take-away breakfast.
Cons -
- I'm still learning the auto shut off for the lights, but just leave your key in the slot. Bed was pretty firm and just one pillow, but it made me feel more in touch with the spirit of St. Francis and didn't impede sleep, so it was a bonus in that sense.
- We encountered non-working room keys .... after 6 different keys, and demanding a new room, they moved us to a smaller room. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Everything is "on the cheap". Small towels, minimal Buffet breakfast, TV in room on wall was a 14 in screen. YES 14 inches, WIFI was totally unusable 90% of the time. Had to use my cellular wireless service to get mail, etc.Rooms have no heat or A/C during certain hours of the day. (common in Italy). Front desk had no MAP of ASSISI, - they said we could buy on at some (unnamed) shop in town, whereas most hotels have free maps. Hangers in closet were a collection of different styles left there by previous room guests. The heated towel rack never worked even when the room radiator (steam) was giving heat. Toilet paper not replaced by maid when it ran out. I had to go to maid cart in the morning and get 2 rolls.
- one of the employees at the counter is not so welcoming. I was expecting that everyone would be smiling and cordial, especially if you work in a property called "House of Peace", (Domus Pacis).

This is a low priced hotel. It was VERY VERY BUSY in mid-DECEMBER with tour groups. We stayed here 5 nights. We liked the location ... VERY close to the Basilica of Mary of the Angels. Also close to BUS "C" stop which you can take to get to ASSISI and back to the hotel. NOTE - this hotel is in the town of Santa Maria degli Angeli, which is DOWN the HILLS from the town of Assisi which has Basilica of St Francis, and many other churches you should visit.

Breakfast was great and the servers are very nice and friendly especially Florentina.
The breakfast experience offered was exceptional, considering the price point. The selection available is extensive, providing a variety of options that would be challenging for an average individual to fully appreciate within a whole-hour breakfast period. The quality of the food was commendable, and the service staff displayed a high level of professionalism, kindness and accommodation.

Easy to get to. In the central part of Assisi so about 4 miles to old Assisi. I like to walk so it was fine. Very close to train station.
Location
The bed was too firm and uncomfortable. A bit too noisy around the lobby
Very clean. Safe and good parking.
Sufficient breakfast, everything you need, hot and cold, including fruit... good.
Simple room and facilities. Breakfast was sufficient. One room had nice views. Christmas supper was a nice surprise.
We were hoping our rooms could be closer to each other.
Everything was great. The bus that takes you to the main city is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The train station is walkable as well. The room was clean and comfortable except that I had a twin bed that I'm not used to. The free breakfast was okay. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.
Quiet location, free on site parking, welcoming and friendly staff, limited evening meal choices but nice simple dishes, good for the price paid. The room was very clean as was the en-suite bathroom.
The bed was hard but this seems to be the norm for Italy.
The hotel is large, modern and secure. Excellent standards of cleanliness, comfy bed, quiet room, varied breakfast buffet. Great choice for convenience, and value for money in the area
Rather impersonal, as a solo traveller, the staff were not friendly, or helpful, they directed me to walk to Assisi, without saying that there was a bus, it was a long walk! Also they couldn't tell me how to get to the hotel from the Airport either, I managed to share a taxi.
The room was with amazing view, location is great and staff was extremely friendly and polite. Breakfst was amazing as well1
Great location!
European hard beds. Air conditioner didn’t cool the room, we opened the windows.
Great location. Comfortable rom and very clean. Arrived early and was able to store luggage prior to check in. If you are traveling to Assisi this is a good place to stay. It's a 10 minute wall to the hotel. Do not rely on Google Maps to guide you, it will take you twice the amount of time to get there. It was much simplier - just look for the church and you will find the hotel back to the left. The hudge plaza is connected so just walk across it and look for the hotel entrance. You can't miss it.
English speaking TV channel.
Room was clean and big.
There was a bad smell in the room, even open windows didn't help. Breakfast was poor and not tasty.
Most things.
They kept overriding the air conditioning in my room, turning it off randomly. This was exceptionally annoying as the provision of it was the main reason I booked the room.
Unbeatable location, just outside Sant Maria degli Angeli church and Porziuncola, big clean clam structure, good kind staff
