pool was great! very warm and fun in the middle of winter. Nice areas to just sit on the grass and listen to music.

Beautiful hotel, room and very close to the center and local points of interest. We enjoyed also a nice Spa! Amazing views from balcony!

Would be nice to have an option to have launch and early dinner options ( around 5 pm starting). It would just accommodates tourists more. Thanks.

It was located in a nice area and close to the center of Assisi.

Food wasn’t good, rooms are a little outdated and the shuttle bus schedule is very limited.

The hotel was very good and has everything needed to have a fantastic stay which we obviously had over the Christmas period. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for two even though we had their normal economy double room. The food from breakfast which had a big selection from hot to cold was great and dinner was fantastic along with the service by the restaurant staff. Always polite, friendly and helpful but not intrusive.The facilities were spot on with a lovely garden area. Undercover spacious parking lot which was a nice surprise. The free use of the indoor pool was great and if needed also Spa facilities with reasonable prices but we did not use these so cannot comment.We booked the Christmas Eve set dinner and the Christmas Day set lunch which both were fantastic and we were so pleased we booked these, it made our Christmas that little bit more special, so a big thank you to all the restaurant staff, the chefs and kitchen staff, we appreciated all your efforts. The bar area was very comfortable with lots of room to sit and reflect on the day's activities. The bar service by "the best barman in the world" ? who was always very friendly and made you feel like you had known him forever! Although this goes for all the staff from the reception to the restaurant staff and the cleaners, I couldn't speak highly enough of them all. The free shuttle service into Assisi (5 minutes) 4 times a day was excellent and saved a 20 minute walk which is a bit hilly, so was very much appreciated for us. The price was also very reasonable for such a lively Hotel.Many many thanks to everyone at the BV Grand Hotel Assisi for making our Christmas stay so comfortable and memorable, we will definitely return in the new year and will recommend the hotel to all our friends.

If I was going to be really picky, although it really wasn't a problem, then I would suggest that they get better food tray warmers for the hot breakfast selection!

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as part of a 5 week car tour. The hotel was well located about two kilometres from Assisi town. The hotel has a good (free), underground car park. We weren’t given much information when we checked on apart from the key and what time breakfast was and there was no information in the room - we had to go back and ask for wifi password etc. As we were checking out on the last day we noticed the staff giving a tourist map to some Italian guests who had just arrived - this would have been useful to have. The rooms were quite nice and a reasonable size and the en-suite had a bath. The rooms were well serviced and cleaned. There was no kettle or cups but there was a fridge. Comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. Whilst perfectly adequate, the hotel and rooms do have a rather dated feeling (it looks like it was built circa 2000 and not much done since). The breakfast was quite adequate. We didn’t use the restaurant in the evening - there was a set menu that always seemed to contain chicken and rabbit as the main course (not much good for a vegetarian - I had contacted hotel beforehand asking about non meat dishes and was told that vegetarians were catered for. We asked at reception but got a rather non committal answer that maybe “the chef could do something”, so we ate out). There was a good heated in door swimming pool. I would give the hotel 6/7 out of 10. Quite good but not exceptional. Assisi though is amazing.

It was nice enough but a bit out of the city and a bit overpriced for what it was. The pool area was nice but the food wasn’t so great and on reflection we would have preferred to stay somewhere a bit more centrally located. The staff were very friendly and helpful with arranging a taxi collection. It’s not a bad hotel at all, there might just be better value for money elsewhere.

Beautiful property, excellent and amazing breakfast, nice location.

Room was roasting hot even after turning off the heat and opening the window. Bathroom was also extremely warm had no ventilation.

The location is perfect: Up in the olive hills, about 20 Minutes on foot to Porta Nuova and with a breathtaking view. The structure integrates well in the panorama and the reception hall looks inviting. The pool is nice. The wifi connection in the rooms and in the common room is reliable and fast, also for conference calls.

The room was very dusty, even the elevators were dirty. The soundproofing was very poor: Even before 6 a.m. we were woken by the steps/voices/TV of our neighbors. The breakfast options left much to be desired: Especially on days with many guest groups, the breakfast buffet turned into an unattended battlefield. A very poor experience for the price of a 4-stars hotel.

The location of the hotel helps a lot if you are travelling to visit the main tourist attractions. The price and free parking place also are good points to bear in mind.

We stayed at the ground floor, and the room was not sound isolated: we could hear what was going on in the corridor, in the next rooms and, also, in the events/meetings rooms nearby, with people moving several chairs early in the day, around 07:30 on a Sunday. Therefore, impossible to sleep properly. The size of the room was a little bit smaller than we expected. It was always hard to get a table for breakfast, as there were too many group of tourists on that hotel when we were there.

Quality of breakfast not good.

We requested other room, because was water dripping on the floor from bad function of AC. Did not make our beds one day. Bad service and from the from desk woman unpleasant., only one guy at from desk was nice, the others not that all.Assisi it is beautiful Place. Hopefully I will come back, but not to that hotel.
