Was running late by an hour which ment I was past the check in time phones ahead wasn't a problem was hibu the main door code and key was left on reception staff were really helpful

had a wonderful stay at Hotel Atalaia on the hottest day of the summer. The staff was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful with both us and our dog. They managed to get us the last available table at their restaurant, which turned out to be amazing—the food was delicious, and the chef is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. A truly warm and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

This is the perfect location to stay during a family road trip. The hotel is right off the highway, yet feels peaceful and secluded. It's also right next to a commercial center with fuel station and supermarket. The staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is varied, ample and healthy!Something for all tastes. The hotel is located in an oasis just off the autoroute, next to a big shopping center, and a short drive from the coast. The attention to details at all levels is notable, rooms, beds, linens, in-room care products, space, friendliness of all staff. 5-star stay in a 3-star hotel. And super animal friendly! Spacious parking and large garden area around the hotel. Third time staying here. Next time in warmer weather so I can enjoy the surroundings more!

Great place to stay, mega comfy beds, lovely rooms and really friendly staff

The location was very close to motorway which was perfect after a 7 hour drive! Hotel was excellent and surroundings were better than expected. Petrol station right next door. Staff friendly. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that. Room/ bathroom were very nice and clean.

Our room 101 (also 102) were located right next to the stairs, the floors and stairs were wooden so you could hear everytime someone walked up the stairs, which was very loud! Also noisey guests and general lack of sound proofing made it difficult to get a good night sleep!! However, I'm sure if you had a different room this wouldn't be a problem.

Modern, clean and comfortable rooms and very welcoming to our dogs. The breakfast was very good and the staff were all very friendly.

Beautiful rooms , lots of free parking and very helpful staff . Welcomed our dog too ?. A minute off the motorway, but not noisy, and very easy to get to San Sebastián in about 12 mins by car . Would highly recommend !

Good location. Close to the main road. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Very clean and tidy. Very comfortable beds in a spacious room. E.V. charging is available at an extra cost (€15 regardless of KWh Jan' '25)

Excellent location, EV chargers, pet allowed, clean and large rooms and extremely good value for money. Staff were very polite and friendly and cannot recommend this place enough.

Very comfortable,clean and very nice clean, spacious rooms with coffee or tea possibility and a bottle of water.

Everything was perfect. After a 8 hour drive from st malo with a dog and 2 cats we were delighted when the sat nav said take the exit off the motorway and turn left into the car park !!How amazing and we were met with a roaring fire in reception and a very happy receptionist that gave us the best room that had a balcony with a view of the garden. We didn’t use it as we had our cats but a beautiful clean room. The bathroom was huge with Clarins toiletries. We walked our dog a 2 minute walk across the road to a McDonalds as we were so hungry and there was a petrol station and car wash next door. . Can’t fault this hotel wow would stay here again it was so good !! Thank you

Beautiful, traditional, spotlessly clean hotel. Stayed en-route to southern Spain and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

It was all superb!

Very clean, comfortable and pet friendly. The breakfast menu is absolutely amazing and the chef came out to have a chat and to wish us a safe journey. The other staff were very friendly and welcoming, too.

the hotel restaurant closed at 4pm and the only alternatives were in a shopping mall across the roadThe E25 charge for the dog was excessive considering zero dog facilities were provided

This is my second stay at hotel Atalaia and will be my regular overnight stay when driving from UK to Portugal. It is situated very close to motorway but rooms are peaceful and very comfortable. Showers are fabulous and they even supply Clarins toiletries! Staff are lovely and it is always a great stay! Just wished they had a little bar/cafe/restaurant which would be the cherry on top!

The only thing I would prefer is to eat an evening meal at the hotel rather than go to the nearby shopping mall/centro commercial.
