Excellent location, safe parking, helpful staff, large room

Bathroom could use a renovation

Central location, very friendly staff, spacious room

There’s not many parking spots so we had to wait until other guests left so we could park, the spa needs more maintenance, especially the pool as it seemed scratched and dirty in some places

The staff was all friendsly and helpfull.

Not so much spa, but the pool was fine.

This property was not presented as well as the photos imply as it is old and dated, a little shabby. However the staff were welcoming and the location was great to wander out for a meal in the evening.The following morning, walking into the breakfast room was like going into a 1920s time warp the breakfast was sufficient.What I did love was the original artwork on the walls done by the family matriarch who passed earlier this year.

I wanted to use the sauna, they turned it on for me but turned it off after the use and I had to go again out of the spa to ask for the sauna. It was not really warm, only about 50°C. The water in the pool was also lukewarm

The suit was big, the location was good.Most of the staff were friendly.

If they hadn't described themselves as an exclusive high rated spa hotel I wouldn't mind most of the things.They described the suit we booked as having a private bathtub and jacuzzi which I didn't have. But it didn't even have a proper functioning shower head. It was clogged and pulled to the side. They served cold coffee at breakfast and when I asked for a coffee cup one of the staff pointed me to the paper cups on the table. Luckily the bartender noticed and took the effort to clean up a proper cup to give me. The staff guy with the paper cup kept messaging with his phone in the breakfast area which looks quite bad.the breakfast itself was not high quality of any kind. In general it seemed like this hotel once was very good but now it is very run down and they try to keep up with what little is left of their reputation.

Very nice place, kind staff, and great location.

The Wifi was terrible in my room, but it seemed to work well in other parts of the hotel.

Staff are very good and location is perfect. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast was ok, but they will make you a great coffee if you ask. Parking is restricted so make sure you check with them first.

Its not really a 4* hotel and the decor is a little tired, but clean.

Location was perfect, staff very helpful, delicious breakfast. I would go again.

It is in the heart of the city and it had a sheltered safe parking.

Cold water in the swimming pool, the bubble bath, sauna didn't work. I booked more or less for the sauna and the swimming pool, unfortunately, that was below my expectations. Empty fridge in the room, empty minibar.

Downtown hotel, with parking available. Price was ok too with breakfast included. Blue for money.

I really liked the staff in the hotel and also the breakfast. When we checked in we had booked a room with three beds and a double room. But we actually got a suite and an other bigger room than we had ordered. That was a really amazing effort by the hotel. Thank you!

There was not a lot that I did not like with the hotel. But we had one big issue, and that was the safety. When the cleaner had been in our room she left the window open. When we came into the room our small son went to the window (which is on floor level) and he could easily have fallen out. It would have been approximately a 5-6 meter fall. The same thing was in the spa when somebody from the maintenance had left a hatch open in the floor at the edge of the pool. The hole was about 3 m deep and the bottom filled with water. Our son was actually almost going there. Without kids it may be hard to realize these things, but it was actually a serious safety issue.
