Pros +
- The location of the property is really good! You have a shop that is open 24/7 to get drinks, water, snacks and much more. The rooms are perfect for what we needed it for and would stay here again.
- Quite comfortable extremely accessible location by car. The property has a beautiful view.
- Nice clean room.
Cons -
- The breakfast area even though was included. Could potentially be better as lack of food during the timeframe advised.
- Not located directly in town either you drive (short distance) or best bet take an uber as the roads are narrow with hills. It’s fine for most who are familiar with driving in Italy.

Nice clean room.
The room was warm. It was not possible to turn on the AC. I openend the window each day and cooled down the room.
Location and the restaurant
I had a single room and the bed those rooms is only 1.9m and that’s a bit too short for me.
Nice and convenient bar/coffee shop that is open 24/7 and frequented by locals. Very good expresso.
rooms are relatively small, there is plenty of rooms that have noise from the front desk and others that are in the ground floor. The breakfast is extremly good for american standards, but just satisfactory for Eurpoean standards.
large room, good breakfast, free parking
internet very slow and disconnecting often - I used 4G instead
This is a four-star hotel; however, there are no coffee or tea facilities in the room. Except for a shower cap, soap, and shampoo, no other toiletries were provided in the bathroom. There were no tissues in the room. The breakfast was very modest, and if you arrived at the restaurant around 9 AM, almost no warm dishes were left. There was also a strange smell in the corridor.
Breakfast, lobby with tables and sofa
Size room, door toilett
I had to go to a business meeting, and Villa Mercede seemed like a good option for a short trip with the family. The issue was not the hotel but Frascati as a town; difficult for pedestrians and more intended for people with private vehicles. No taxis were available at night so we needed to walk to reach places with a small kid. The breakfast was great, and the waitress was extremely kind at the breakfast service. Beds, sheets and towels were clean, which is much appreciated in Rome.
The pillows and mattress were super hard, to the point my head ached the first night. Communication was not great; I sent a message requesting a shuttle service from the train station to the hotel without a response. It seems Frascati is more intended for local tourism, so they provide limited information. You have to pay for the water in the minibar. Even while not expensive, it should count as a courtesy for guests.
Very helpful staff and the room cleaners were excellent and efficient!
Location was not really that close to anything at Frascati. Quite a hike to get up to Piazza Roma.
The very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Plenty of parking space
The staff were nice.
We were in the basement! I understand I paid for a basic room and that’s what I got so my lesson is to not get basic rooms especially at this hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it.
The room was very good. The pool area looked good but didn't use it
The location - not easy to find walking from the train station and despite asking, the hotel were not forthcoming with directions. There website and also brochure in hotel room offers a shuttle service between hotel and station but I had been told they didn't offer one. However it seemed to be running the next day for someone else. Also, despite a kettle, sugar and 2 teabags in the room, it was not possible to have coffee. We had to buy it at the coffee/snack bar attached, but not in, the hotel and open to passing customers. This was also the only place we could buy an alcoholic drink. Not what would be expected of a 4 star hotel
The gym was very good. Restaurant was excellent. We really enjoyed meals in the restaurant with our big party of friends.
We enjoyed the layout of the facility and the view of Rome from our window. The lobby bar was very convenient and the restaurant was simply fantastic. The hotel is within walking distance to the lovely city center of Frascati.
It is a very popular hotel for events where they make use of the pool area making it difficult for us as guests to use it. We were even quite rudely asked to leave the pool as there was a party arriving.
Location, pool an on-site dinning
Needs room refurbishment, although still clean just old !
Breakfast was good, room was clean and nice, staff were welcoming
The pool is amazing and the staff too! Wonderful hotel! Would stay again and again
There was no kettle in the room, also the taxi prices quoted by the hotel arent correct, taxis were asking us for more money every trip.
The hotel is very modern, the staff are friendly and professional. The rooms however are very small, though clean and functional. It feels more like an airport or conference hotel than a holiday hotel. Our triple room was really more like a small double with the third bed being a converted chaise sofa in the corner. Also the bath with a jacuzzi feature was mouldy due to lack of use. The restaurant and breakfast however are amazing and the best we have had for a long time. Overall it is good, just could be great which is a shame.
Size of the room, way too small for the price and description.
