Former residence of the exiled Italian kings, Grande Real Villa Itália Hotel & Spa faces the Atlantic Ocean in Cascais. Please note that guests must be at least 16 years of age in order to be allowed to access and use all the SPA facilities. All Spa services including the Thalassotherapy circuit require a booking with advance (the Spa team must be contacted to do so). The Thalassotherapy circuit includes use of the treatment pool, turkish bath and sauna and costs 20€ per person, per access. The hotel does not have an indoor swimming pool. The Spa is open daily, however on festive dates and bank holidays the opening times might be limited or the facilities might even be closed. Please contact the hotel directly for more details. Please note that late check-out subject to availability and additional charges. Children aged 11 and below are not allowed in the Belvedere Ristorante area. Cons -
- Our last 4 nights of a 5 week trip exploring Portugal were spent here. We intended on spending time around the pool, relaxing. The pool was closed for repairs, which we do understand but feel that we should have been informed or compensated with a perk.
- Ther was a single mattress and it was so low to the floor that I extreme difficulty getting in and out if bed.I have bad knees like a lot if elderly people. Although this is a wonderful resort I would not stay there again due to above issue
