Hotel Allegro Einsiedeln

The staff were amazing and they were smiling. The view in the room was great.

Breakfast Experience:Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet expectations. The variety of food offered was very limited, and the cleanliness of the restaurant needs improvement — there were noticeable hygiene issues under some tables. Additionally, there were many flies present, which made the dining experience uncomfortable. I was looking forward to enjoying breakfast during my stay, but it fell short of expectations.Room Amenities:The room lacked a mini-fridge, which is typically a standard feature in most hotels. This was a bit inconvenient.General Concerns:One particularly disturbing incident occurred when a dog inside the hotel, near the reception area, saw a cat and began barking loudly. The noise was extremely disruptive and unpleasant. Allowing dogs in indoor public areas may not be suitable for all guests.

Quite basic but functional and functional rooms. I had expected more of the breakfast though. Cold cuts were almost finished. Bread not as good as it usually is in Switzerland.

The rooftop bar area was the best part of this hotel! The view was beautiful. The room was the cleanest I’ve stayed in so far in Switzerland! They also offer electric bikes for hotel guests to use free of charge which was a bonus. And there is free parking. The staff was helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Nice clean room, pleasant stay. Beautiful rooftop bar.

It has a rooftop terrace with bar that we could relax. The food in the restaurant was very good and the breakfast which was included to the price was also good. The staff were all nice and especially lady taking care of the breakfast was very efficient. The room had all we needed and was clean. There was a bed and towel for our dog ( cost 25 CHF) which made us happy. ? It stands outside of the city and 20-30 minutes walk to the lake.

The building looks a bit like school. I had an impression they renovated a building which was built for other purposes to the hotel. The room was nice and cozy. However the price of the room wasn’t matched to our expectations probably because of the big event running in the town.

We got there after a long drive and we thought we were at the wrong place. Ugly building it’s looking like a youth hostel in a huge building.Maybe the inside is okay-ish. It was even worse. There was loud music from the rooftop bar. (We found out later)I wanted to leave immediately. Looked on this platform nothing. Downstairs there was a very nice member of the staff offered us a room with a view. We decided to stay. We were tired.We ate dinner at the restaurant. 75 euros for two slices of ham with some overcooked vegetables and a pulled pork burger. YakMorning breakfast. This hotel holds also old people and also large groups of kids. So at the breakfast we were lucky to come together with this large group of kids. Breakfast is also poor.Never again!

Beds and pillows were not 100% comfortable

It was perfect for our family - our kids loved the play corner and its selection of toys and puzzles. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and the hotel is a 15-min leisurely walk from ether the town centre or the lake.

Two bathrooms, breakfast, staff really nice.

It is more a youth hostel, than a hotel, some facilities are rather outdated. Our room smelled like a hospital room, but was clean otherwise.

Check in staff member was excellent and polite

No aircon rooms way to hot first room radiator jammed on room was cooking swapped rooms second room very small tried openening windows to cool down but got inundated with flies and mosquitos.Breakfast counter open buffet style had over a dozen flies all over the food absolutely disgusting you weren't going to eat after seeing them crawling over everything.Spoke to checkout staff and manager in the morning and was told by the manager it was cold weather so hotel warm 26⁰ outside bloody cooking inside and everywhere either flies or mosquitos which got excused by the manager as we live in the countryside,well so do I but I don't eat food crawling with flies and my home is not full of them I have been in the travel industry for 32 years and this is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in would definitely avoid at all costs save your money and go elsewhere

We stay in this hotel one night, room was clean, bead was comfy. There was everything needed for one day stay. I recommend this place.
