Boutique Hotel St. Georg

The property was fantastic! Great location, clean and comfortable. The food for breakfast was superb — all locally sourced products and ingredients and very thoughtfully provided. The front desk staff were so gracious and provided helpful suggestions and support. We really had a fabulous stay.

Friendly staff, clean comfy room, guest laundry, quiet room, walkable to shop, grocery and restaurant.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the Monastery and shops and restaurants. It is also an easy walk to the train station. The staff was very helpful, whether it was a warm drink in the afternoon or helping us to get laundry done. We were very happy with our stay.

I am impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.The room is nice and the bed comfy and everything very clean.

Tea/coffee (hot water kettle) not available. No heating in the bathroom, not even a towel rack (heating).And no fridge available either.

Rather dark room. Room had only one window with no view, right next to neighboring building.

A particular kind person from the staff was incredibly helpful during my stay. When I wasn't feeling well and being with my 2 children, they went out of their way to coordinate with the nearby restaurant to have a pizza delivered directly to my room. This thoughtful gesture made a significant difference and was greatly appreciated.

The location was somewhat loud outside due to the street and nearby restaurant, making it noisy if you want to keep the window open during summer.

Very nice hotel near the Einsiedeln Abbey. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly.

The room was very basic, no comments.

Breakfast below the normal Swiss standard: only very hard bread and no orange juice.Service in the reception was poor: I was left waiting in the middle of the registration and there was no one in the morning when we left.The public garage is quite far.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location of the hotel is amazing. The staff was really friendly, we had a nice sized room with a big bed, the room was very clean. Our room was right on the street and we thought it would be loud at night, but it was so quiet that we slept like babies. There are lots of nice restaurants located right in the area of the hotel. We arrived by bike, and the hotel had a bike room where our bikes were locked up safely. The real highlight for us was the breakfast. The quality of the food was very high and all of the food offered were local products (From the bread, to the jam, eggs, cheeses, yogurt, meats, juice, you name it).

The weird opaque but still transparent circular window in the shower room . When in the shower, I appreciate total privacy. Had I known about this " window", I wouldn't have chosen this otherwise good hotel.

We went as a family - 3 adults, 3 kids - to visit the Christmas markets. The hotel is located in a spectacular location and is very comfortable and clean. The staff hospitably greeted us. We slept comfortably in the clean bedrooms and comfortable beds.

Overall I can only recommend the hotel and will stay there the next time I visit Einsiedeln. Just note the rooms get extremely warm at night due to the traditional heating.

It’s close to everything for ex railway,bus and Abbey.

There is no fridge,no hot water kettle for making tea.

The rooms were very clean and with ample storage. Location was in very close proximity to excellent restaurants, attractions and stores.

Not much choice for breakfast but this is a personal preference. I would stay here again without the breakfast option.

I think in summer season the hotel is probably less suitable for accommodation. No AC available;hence the heat does accumulate, opening windows during weekdays is an option but weekends rather no go as outside noise will keep you awake. Walls too thin, room cleaning in the morning is your wake up call.

Big room with big toilet & shower, Loved the Sauna and Steam bath with option for a massage. The breakfast was great with fantastic options of local produce.

The hotel over charged the local Car Park for 3 days

Centrally located with modern decor and friendly staff. We had a superior room which was a good size even with the sofa bed converted. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was worth the extra price.

Air conditioning would have been nice as well as more than 1 cup in the bathroom.
