Great location, big room, good service.

Surprisingly cleaning was an issue. Then our shower didn’t work properly and at some point warm water just disappeared completely. Lastly, although room was quite big, some nuances were missed/ overlooked, e.g. lack of sockets to charge devices, lack of hangers for towels.

The room was dark, almost no daylight and not enough lamps.

Location was great. Room was large and comfortable.

Very cold decor. The room was white with no color,no artwork etc. really lacked any personality. The room was comfortable but for a five star hotel we expected bottled water and turn down service.

They went above and beyond making sure our stay was awesome. The initial room had stairs down to shower and tub and my husband is handicapped, which wouldn’t work. They moved us to another beautiful room without any issues. Thanks! Also gave an additional perks as parking was a little issue. A bigger thanks

Few stairs getting to room…older hotel w charm so couldn’t minimize that issue

Beautiful building set in the heart of Ubeda’s historical area. Since it is off season, the only staff we saw was very friendly, helped us check-in and out and valeted our car.

Cleaning wasn’t up to par especially the tub which had black stains at the corners.

The outside of the building is gorgeous. The staff is really friendly and super helpful.

The rooms are large especially by European standards. But they are not plush or luxurious the carpet was stained and the overall feel is that the hotel has seen better days. The lobby has this weird set up with a bunch of random pieces - not a welcoming couch or decor. The rooms are not plush or luxurious in any way. Was surprised to see generic amenities and towels were bedraggled. TV had no streaming capabilities and basic channels.

The hotel is situated in an ancient building which was renovated and reformed into a hotel in an interesting way.

In some cases the design does not meet the obvious function, f. e. it was not very comfortable to use the wash bowls situated in our room (not the bathroom).

Everything was good

The size of the room. It was a suite to which we were upgraded. The comfort of the extra large bed, the natural light, the size and the equipment of the bathroom. All was wonderful. Location is perfect. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and polite. The conversion of an old palace is done well with up to best standard facilities and very tasteful preserving as much as possible the charm of an old palace.

the breakfast could be slightly improved, particularly for the baked products offered.

A little tired in some areas. Skirting boards were scuffed. Coffee maker intermittently worked - probably switch was faulty. Bath was in middle of the room. Car parking charge.

For a suite of this size…..too small a TV. No full length mirror anywhere. Poor lighting…..this is not what you would expect for 5 stars! Everything from Eggs, Bacon, Beans were all lukewarm bordering on cold at breakfast. Staff were fabulous, accommodation not what was expected….. disappointed….left early, but still charged ! Fair enough as Xmas…..but doubt if you were full and could have offered a discount!

Just a wonderful building, exquisite inside with beautiful furnishings. Our junior suite was wonderful.

Very relaxing short stay in beautiful surroundings. We had an upgrade through Booking.com to a junior suite which was lovely and very good value. The room had historic features as well as modern bath and shower and very comfortable bed. The hotel offers gracious and comfortable areas for relaxing downstairs as well. We enjoyed the small rooftop swimming pool and views of the surrounding area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location, good sized room and very covenient parking

Breakfast buffet served cold scrambled eggs and bacon. Some of the corridor carpets were dirty.

Accessed by a very narrow street in pedestrian area but very helpful onsite valet parking service
