Easy access by car, easy parking, fabulous staff, great location to walk and explore the old city. Also lots of stores and conveniences immediately nearby.

You need to walk for snacks to the bar , it would be better to have them in the kiosko by the pool

It was a standard Spanish continental breakfast with croissants, cold meat cheese, yoghurt and cereal. Tea, coffee and orange juice. Don’t expect the tea to be the same as we have in the UK

There were no tea/coffe making facilities in the room.

Fun talking with Antonio at the bar via Google translate about the olive oil production around Ubeda. Great breakfast & nice place to stay

Modern hotel within walking distance of the historic centre and with limited on road parking. Rooms are a good size and well appointed. Outstanding breakfast.

There is a safe in the room - but it is not usable without special arrangement.Only 1 lift.

Staff at reception when I arrived and during my stay were really helpful and made things easy. The general atmosphere at the hotel was good, and although quite a busy hotel/busy time when I was there it was never a problem. Service was quick and efficient in the bar and there was plenty of parking space for my motorbike. I could have parked in the car park at the back/side of the hotel but I chose to leave at the front and there were no issues at all. I had an issue with noise external noise whilst I was there (it was very loud and coming fro the area about a half mile away where the fairground was as part of the annual festival (which I had been unaware of). It woke me and was so loud that at about 02:00am I had to go to reception and ask for another room and the member of staff on night duty was really helpful and I moved room - had I known in advance about the noise I would have asked for a room at the front of the hotel.Location is pretty good as well, very easy to find and probably just a 10/15 miniute walk to shops and 20 minutes to the old town area.

Nothing really - the only thing I would say is that the breakfast offering was a little bit average but all in all that did not detract from my stay.

This is our third time staying in this hotel. Excellent value for money when choosing half board. Large comfortable rooms. Short walk into town. Parking can be outside though restricted availability or in the hotel's underground car park.

The bedroom carpet is beginning to look a bit less fresh. I prefer a wooden floor.

The bed was extra large and comfortable. The bar was open after we returned from eating out and prices were reasonable. The hotel was slightly faded although it was clearly a 'grand' hotel at its best. Parking was free outside and 10 euros a day if you used the indoor garage. The town is interesting and we enjoyed our visit. Breakfast was good if you like Spanish style. We do!

Nothing really. I sensed the staff were under pressure at times as the hotel was very busy during our stay.

It had really good parking and was in a good location for the motorway. The walk to the old part of the city was around 20 minutes. But it is hard to get a hotel with parking in the centre.Overall a clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff.

I would have expected a four star hotel to have tea and coffee making facilities. I was staying with my wife and we were left with only one bottle of water to share.Breakfast was disappointing.

Nice Hotel with a good large room. The breakfast was good and served to the table. All Staff were pleasant. Did n't have time to use the pool but it looked good. Would stay here again.

It's a good walk to the old Town

The room was very good. A decent size.The bed was enormous and very comfortable.

A warning. The swimming pool features heavily in the photographs on Booking.com. We booked this hotel because we were travelling around Spain and were looking forward to some leisure time around the pool. However, on arrival there was a huge fiesta taking place with many children in the hotel.....so the pool was closed. Fair enough, I understand. I tried, politely to enquire at reception whether, or not, the pool would reopen for the remainder of our stay. This was almost impossible as not one single member of staff could speak English or understand our very limited Spanish. Eventually I was led to believe that the pool would be open the next day.The following day we went to the pool and an attendant was removing the last sunbed. On returning to reception we were eventually informed that we could use the pool if we wanted, but the sunbeds were removed because it was the end of the season. By the way it was a sunny 29 degrees celsius outside!I did check on Booking.com and discovered that, amazingly the pool closes in mid September....in southern Spain!I suppose the moral of the story is, always read the small print, but be aware if you are expecting to use the pool at this hotel.

Nice and big room, comfy bed, spacious bathroom. Big pool which I enjoyed.

No place to stay around the pool ( neither chairs nor sunshades). About 15 min walk from the historic centre

It’s seen better days and is looking tired. The old phone on the wall in the bathroom sums it up, it’s gone yellow, it’s got push buttons and a long cable, but it was probably very trendy in the 70’s when it was fitted ?
