Span Resort & Spa, Manali - A Riverside Resort

The location, entire staff and awesome food.

It's location on the banks of the river Beas which had very little water at the time we visited end March

Room I stayed in need renovationI had requested for a room closest to the river but got one almost farthest from the river.No complimentary room upgrade.

1.Away from hustle and bustle of the city2.Sound of river flowing right next to it3.responsive and helpful staff4.chef was good, hence all ala carte preparations were very good5. Open green space with lot of outdoor seating, lots of greenery and colors, view of the snow clad mountains6. Enough facilities to keep the two teens busy 7. Room had all the necessary toiletries and were replenished as and when required 8. All modern amenities were available 9. Awesome book collection

1. Food was expensive compared to the portion size but delicious 2. No high tea!

Location is beautiful

This is not a professionally designed placed. We got the walnut suite. Tiny showers with no place to place toiletries. Windows had overhangs that were broken. Room heating didn’t not work. You have to run the water for 10 minutes to get hot water

Well maintained property at each point of the complex & excellent staff, food is delicious, etc.

Toilets are little cramped but well equipped & should have been little larger

the property is clean and well maintained but the major drawback is it’s half an hour away from Manāli. So, you don’t get a feel of the city staying at the resort. it’s riverside and has a good view of the river..

the staff and the management is zero. total failure. Worst staff ever seen. they make ur experience get worst. simple request, u will regret it if u go and stay there. I stayed for New Years at this property but the experience given by the Management was total failure. and it wasn’t one incident, multiple incidents daily. I was there for 3 nights. Very Sad.

The location is gorgeous.. right on the river. Beautiful gardens and outside seating , staff is courteous and food is good. Breakfast was excellent. We were in river facing cottage…one of the premium rooms. We had interconnected rooms which was wonderful. They have sports facilities. We played outdoor chess, Badminton, carrom, billiards.. lovely library.. Spa was average.. no heating in the Spa spite of it being cold outside, it’s just old and needs to be renovated urgently. Staff was kind and courteous. Would love to go back once rooms are renovated.

restaurant was dingy, badly lighted, tacky. the outdoor part of the restaurant was good. there were no doormen to receive or guide before reaching the reception.

There were less options in breakfast and the taste was not that good.have to work on the taste of food.

The cleanliness of room.small pieces of broken glasses were scattered all over the room.one could step on them and bleed.plz have more options in breakfast and work on its taste.

The staff was very courteous..especially the gatekeeper..the lawns n location is good

the bathroom seat wasn’t clean n fittings need to be softened

less crowded, away from manali main, next to river, great garden.. relaxing..
