Indraprastha Resort - Centrally Heated Rooms & Spa

Indraprastha Resort Dalhousie was good. We stayed five days. Staffs are polite and helpful. Walkable distance from Shubhash chowk. Over all good stay.

Staff are very nice and make you feel comfortable

This property is too old. It needs to be maintained well. Rooms are old structure and lights are too dim and it feel little depressing. Hot water comes once and then you have to wait for 20mins for second round. If you are very low with your pockets then you can visit this place. Even breakfast spread is very less and not so great.

Overpriced filthy rooms.Dlpprs never been swept from previous guest.Had to ask. Dirty bedding also not changed. Flithy bucket & stool on bathroom & the list goes on.Just AVOID

Centrally situated, extremely well maintained. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast n the service staff is very pleasant n helpful.

It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent with a good variety of choices, catering for both Indian and Western preferences. The location was also helpful.

Room was good and bigger and property is very good.

In such good property boiler should install instead of using geyser in room which work very slow and need to wait for warm.water in such whether which is waste if time.Hair dryer should be given in suite room.

People, staff. Very helpful and responsive.

Ala a carte soup. Broccoli soup was concocted with sugary milk and finely chopped uncooked brocoli.

Breakfast was nice and location also easily approachable.

Some amenities are quite old. Hotel in need of a renovation

Spacious room, but too many things that irked me .... the hotel has enough facilities for a transit in my opinion...

what irked me: not clean sheets, bathroom has a shower panel but it was leaking

1. The hotel is close to the HRTC bus station so you don’t have to walk down much, there’s no need to take a cab unless you are very exhausted. Ample space for private parking. 2. The manager Mr. Abhimanyu, the restaurant attendant Mr. Ritik Thakur and room service attendant Mr. Bikram stood out in their hospitality. They always were warm in their demeanour and ensured a very comfortable stay with a genuine smile on their face. Thanks to all three.3. The restaurant is really good and chefs are fast in their service. For the breakfast the options were sufficient, the food was always fresh and definitely tasty. The chefs even customised per my requirements. 4. The hotel also has a small gym facility which is essential for me. 5. The rooms, the washroom and the linen were very clean. There is 24 hours supply of hot water.

1. One thing I didn’t like was the cab they sent for picking me up, the cab driver overcharged me for small distances. It’s better to take your own cab from the market area where the rates are fixed. 2. The bathroom lighting needs to be brighter.

The owners were gracious enough to upgrade us to a Maharaja suite which started us off on a good note. While the food is delicious, I want to give a pat on the back to the staff who has been on the top of their hospitality and took special care in making us comfortable. Given the cold weather, the heater took time to setup in the morning. That's when the staff jumped into action to get us buckets of hot water from the other rooms. This place is better amongst the most in Dalhousie town, given that the people are extremely warm, rooms are spacious and the food is top notch.

Right from arrival at the Hotel. the staff at reception was extremely helpful and cordial. The food quality is absolutely amazing. The entire staff from the Restaurant to Room Cleaning were amazing. We absolutely loved the hospitality.

it is highly recommended that International Credit Card be made acceptable at the property. None of my cards got accepted and it’s a big setback considering today’s digital world.

the location, and the restaurant. staff was good, property and room is clean. Room was nice keeping a family stay.

The cost is high as compared to promised services because stay doesn’t involve a weekend. no bonfire, no buffet breakfast ( it’s la-carte) with very limited options compared to such 4-star properties elsewhere. kids play area, park would be better.

the decor is aesthetic, and gives home feeling, beautiful layout throughout

some areas in the corridor could do with carpet replacement
