    • As my wife said, "I don't know what paradise looks like, but this has to be close."
    • The property is beautiful. I really enjoyed walking around the coffee plantation. The views are fabulous. A very nice setting overall. The rooms/restaurant/etc are not bad but not outstanding. I guess you sorta get what you paid for, without loss or surplus, if that makes sense. The rooms were clean but a tad dated, the restaurant is fancy but not very tasty imho.
    • It is absolutely stunning. It is situated in the mountains above Boquete on a gorgeous coffee plantation. The landscaping is immaculate and simply breathtaking. Our room was spacious and well-appointed with a giant Jacuzzi and walk-in shower. It also had an indoor and outdoor fireplace that we used on one particularly cold evening—they leave a pile of wood for you! WiFi covers the property if you want it. The restaurant on the property is excellent. As you might imagine, they serve some great coffee!

    Cons -

    • Would love reception staff to all speak English.
    • The location is both great and complicated. If you dont have a car, getting a taxi is not cheap ($15+) and it takes a while. However, if you do have car its superb.
    • Not that it was a huge problem, but some matches to start the fire would’ve been helpful.

    - the green and beautiful garden with lots of flowers- nice beds and sheets - nice hot shower

I heard on September there’s going to be some changes, that the hotel is planning to expand the parking lot so cars can arrive at the room. I would suggest to think it twice since one of the attractions is having birds and butterflies near the flower and us guest in the hamacas taking rest while enjoying nature. Would be a shame if all of that is gone

Place is super clean and the staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly and accommodating.

It’s little bit hard to get to. If you are not use to drive in very narrow lanes, it’s could be a challenge. Your ears will pop just because is such a high mountain.

The site is beautiful, the staff very kind and knowledgeable, the rooms comfy, the meals yummy. You could just stay in there and have plenty to do for a couple of days. We explored the trails and did the coffee tour, both very enjoyable, and we learned quite a bit, too. The site is over 100yrs old and filled with quality beans and nice stories. A 15 min ride from the town and similarly 10 to 15min ride from some of the most popular trails. And good wifi, if you need to do some work, too.

In the middle of the coffee plantation. Own paths to walk in the rainforest and look fot he animals. Breathtaking views. Excellent coffee served by professional baristas. Own fireplace to enjoy in the evening.

The restaurant was a mixed bag of experience. Some dishes excellent and some disappointing.

Breakfast & restaurant were great with fair prices.

No coffee pot or refrigerator in rooms. TV did not work and issues with hot water

Very accommodating staff. Friendly kitchen staff. Beautiful property. Great location.

Not enough vegan choices in the restaurant. But the staff was kind enough to make accommodations. Would love to have more items added in the menu.

    Disappointing

I got bed bug bites and had to go to the hospital in the US to get them treated because I am allergic.

    6MarioPosted on: 12-14-2024

The location inside the plantation is very charming. Car is needed but the town is a 10-15 minutes drive. Food is good, even if on the expensive side.

Staff are not particularly friendly or helpful, especially at reception. I was given no information whatsoever upon arrival. In general, a very laid back and uninterested attitude, often annoyed that guests obliged them to interrupt their conversations. Rooms are quite pricey for what they are and need a significant refresher as well as an effort on decoration.

Beatufil property, walking around the property is amazing. Friendly and helpful staff, room was clean and spacious.

The staff were friendly and very helpful in setting up a morning of birding with an exceptional guide (Cesar Cabellero).

    Nothing. it was perfect.

It was a beautiful setting, without doubt. Everyone was exceedingly pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed our coffee tour.

Our original room had been recently painted and reeked of oil paint fumes. We asked to be moved and they moved us to a better room which was fine but we could only have that for 2 of our 3 nights. We moved to another recently painted room on our last night which still had fumes. We found the restaurant to have a limited menu, same for lunch and dinner. If you stayed longer than 3 days you would be challenged to find something new to eat. For the price we were paying, we felt the room was disappointing, but for the comfortable mattress/ bedding.

Comfortable and clean rooms, quiet and relaxing.

    Bad

Attention is really bad taking into account this is one of the best hotels in boquete for the price, rooms are super old, floor was dirty, internet didnt work and i had to insist to fix it, they didnt know about early check in reception, coffee in the coffee shop is really bad… the good machine is in the restaurant.
