Great hotel with nice scenery over the water. It was a nice bonus that breakfast and dinner were included in the price. Excellent staff, and cozy room.

Breakfast was great! Good variety, well-presented, tasted good.

Bathroom doors were difficult to open and close.

It includes dinner which was mediocre. The breakfast was good. You can drive up to the front door to unload/load. There is paid parking right around the corner and it's free over night. Get a parking app like EasyPark or similar. At this property you can add time to the parking so it's not restricted by the normal max 2 hours.

We liked the waterfront walk and the tasty breakfast.Had not known about the free dinner as well!

I stayed at the Arcticus in Harstad in order to meet the Havila cruise ship on the morning following my stay. From the hotel (although not my room) I could see the arrival of the ship. The breakfast was excellent. The Arcticus has a novel feature in that they provide a free buffet dinner in the early evening. The food was simple but satisfying. It really made you feel liek you were at home. This was a great way to start my visit to the Lofoten Archipelago.

The sauna with the views was really nice. Good breakfast.

The building/rooms don't look like a 4 star hotel and dinner wasn't the greatest, although it is included in the price so fair enough and good value.

the location is great, room space is also suitable for large luggages, parking near by with tariff but fortunately caused by after 3 pm Sat till 8 am Mon is free. Breakfast is good except various utensils and no coffee machine.

Location is perfect. Located close to everything. Breakfast and dinner was fine - good chefs choice. Sauna included.

Poor cleanliness in the gym/sauna area. Posters are ignored with no alcohol policy. Empty cans/bottles in the area and in the sauna. Been given the room next to partying/drinking company. Had to contact staff to reduce noise also asked to change rooms to avoid further escalations or ruin the party. No change just a notice to the room.

Hotel is in great location close to the boat terminal. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. All food really tasty. Afternoon snack was a nice detail and great way to begin the stay. Dinner consisted of a buffet with soup, main course and salad bar. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options to choose from. Gym and sauna were for free, both quite small but it was never too many people there. The sauna had amazing view of the mountains, sea and the town. I had a really nice stay even though it was only for one night. Overall price/quality ratio absolutely worth it. If I was ever coming back to Harstad, I would be happy to stay there again.

The temperature in the sauna could be higher.

Amazing view crom breakfast hall (restaurant) and also from my superior room. Room is spacious, but otherwise just a classic hotel room. Heating system in place, also good for drying clothes after snowy hikes. Dinner good, included in price, coffee always available at the reception. Staff friendly and responsive. I stayed here twice in autumn 2024, and would take another group if needed!

Parking is little challenging because they don't have own parking space. Street parking few minutes away is usually available, but not guaranteed. Location of the hotel is a bit off the very center, but view of Ganstastoppen compensates it!

All food was included and was nice home cooked food with lots of fresh salads.

The location is excellent. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. The afternoon snack also superb.

The hotel is near the bus station and the cruise port around 10min walking. The view is nice outside the hotel. I wish I could stay longer in Hastad.

More choices for the dinner time will be better.

We had to leave before breakfast, so they packed us food to go! Very nice staff, only bummed that we forgot about the sauna until it was too late - but it looks excellent.
