Showed up late and was quick to checkin - nice people and decent old building

Perfect location with a view of the ocean and a special protected area by the seawall for swimming. The lifeguard was on duty all the time. Food choices were good, satisfactory, and typical of all other hotels.

The bed mattress was too small and not firm enough. I wish the hotel would install water fountains for drinking in the building and outside.

The location was amazing, the view from the restaurant was breathtaking!

The bed was very hard and the place looked too much like a hospital.

The location is by far the best feature of this hotel. The view is gorgeous and the access to sit near the water and swim is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The entire place is extremely clean. Complementary breakfast was a very nice touch with good continental options. The lunch and dinner options were nice, and quality was very good. The hotel is older (and old convent) and things could be updated but the price and location are well worth it! We would definitely stay here again

Rooms are outdated and the hallways still look like a convent, but for the price and location we did not mind at all

No fault of the location but the cars drive terribly fast resulting in a lot of road noise while sleeping

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, and the breakfast and service were definitely not for a one-star hotel but for a three stars hotel. We will definitely be back.

The bathroom could do with some small improvements like some shelves to store beauty cases and in the shower cubical as you can not place your soap or shampoo anywhere. The cleanness was great ?.

Not helpful. No transfer help. Privat beach area but for fee. 2 beds one umbrella 30 euro. Poor for kids. Expensive restaurant.

The villa is at the first sea line. Breakfast is not good and is not bad.

You can't go to the beach for free. You have to pay 10 euros for the beach. And you can't go to the beach before 9 am and after 8 pm. You can only look at the sea for free

Hard to get to if you don’t have a car, more of a locals retreat than something for foreigners, you really need a car

Really noisy room above water pipes really noisy reminded me of a old hospital very dated and cold+ sparse needs alot of work

Great position right by the sea, spacious rooms and halls, courteous staff.

The bathroom wasn’t clean when we entered the room. The beds were made with comforters without any cover and some were stained. Creaky old bed bases. Noisy rooms. Beach access is easy but not included.

I didn’t like so much, there was some work going on on the premises. The hotel had no atmosphere, guess because not yet high season.

The restaurant serves great food. We had dinner and everyone enjoyed their food. The pasta was wonderful.

It’s oceanfront

NO A/C, no window shades, the building was some type of institution. Extremely high ceiling with large windows and no window treatments. Double doors in the hallways that lock down like an mental facility. Absolutely horrible! Do not stay at this place it’s not a hotel!

Location is absolutely picturesque… but only suitable for travellers with own transport as the Hotel MG shuttle service doesn’t run in the off season. Location is only 5.5kms from town. But there are no buses or trains from hotel. Taxi service is extremely expensive if you are lucky enough to get one to come and collect you…. And non existent for a return from the local township of SANTA MARINELLA.

Nothing really, maybe the breakfast that was included.

The stuff was the most incompetent I have seen for a long time. You also had to pay for secure parking and for access to the beach. There where blood on the curtains in the room.

- The view to the sea was gorgeous- The garden / terrace- Not many people at the non-private beach.

- The room had no AC so it felt like a sauna in there. They promised us a fan and we had to ask 3-4 times for someone to bring it (we received it after 1 day and a half out of 3 being there). The fan that we received was also very dirty and filled with dust. - We ran out of water at the shower and after they fixed the water, the toilet started leaking and no one came to fix it even though they kept telling us someone will be there in 10-15 minutes.- During evenings they did not let us sit and eat outside the terrace (probably cause people were renting the terrace" area)- There is no private beach, it's just a place to sit and go in a "mini pool like" to swim so we prefered to go outside the property for swiming. Another downside is that they closed the beach at 6 p.m.
