    • Loved the fact that the hotel was oceanfront. Beautiful views. The food was excellent too. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
    • Great location next to the beach. The hotel restaurant had great food and drinks. The staff was very friendly as well.
    • Bianca restaurant was excellent. Pasta and seafood were delicious. The morning buffet was satisfying. The reception and cleaning staff were a joy.

    Cons -

    • The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were very very flat!!
    • The elevator is small.
    • No ParkingNo bar - there was a restaurant which was expensive but ok, but they shut it very early if no one appeared in time. Lack of some where to sit and chat with a glass of wine was disappointing. €20 to sit on the sunbeds because we booked through booking.com not direct was dreadful. We asked for breakfast at 6.30am and was told it wasnt available until 7am not even a coffee, when we got up it was fully laid out at 6.30am for some military which were staying. Beer (small bottle of lager €6) and spirits very expensive.

    Oceanfront

Charging for beach lounges when staying . Restaurant service needs work

    5HelenPosted on: 7-17-2024

    Location

Tried to charge us 50 euros EACH fora sunlounge - for the day - when we only needed an hour. That’s rude considering we were overnight guests of the hotel.

Loved the beach club, the attractive gardens, beautiful decor and delicious dinner on the waterfront with live music from a talented bunch of musicians. The attention to detail here is top class. We had the entry level room which was very spacious, immaculately clean and had waterfront views. We felt welcome from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. 100% recommend this place and so hope to be back. Thank you for your hospitality.

Hate to say anything negative but we would have loved tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

    9FishkinPosted on: 6-30-2024

It’s a nice boutique hotel situated on the waterfront.

There was no beach, just a concrete platform into the water.

Lovely location. Comfortable beds and stunning restaurant location.

For the price this hotel does not live up to expectations. Mediocre room. Unacceptable charge for use of outside hotel area (€40 for a prime location sunbed). Continental breakfast was good but items ran out and were not replaced.

It's right on the ocean, restaurant has waves lapping right outside. Staff were very helpful and problem solved our pre-arranged taxi pickup at the Civititechia port. Would definitely stay again.

The restaurant dinner food wasn't great for the price. Breakfast was good however.

    10PamelaPosted on: 11-5-2023

Location was brilliant. Breakfast was very good. Continental but plenty of choice.

We didn't like the evening meal but that was our personal choice. There was always people eating in there.

    8LeahPosted on: 10-29-2023

The staff were lovely. The hotel was nice and we had a lovely view with the sound of the ocean. The breakfast was nice too and well priced.

Very difficult to catch a tax to the airport from San Marinella. The taxi guy was going to charge 180 euros. We had to catch a train to Rome and then taxi to the airport. Not many shops. The area of San Marinella itself is a bit run down. You can see that it used to be very grand with a history of very famous people escaping there for the beach and sun shine. The restaurant at the hotel is very expensive for dinner for what you get.

It is beautiful property with an incredible view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Caesar and the rest of the crew are so very helpful and eager to make our stay a fabulous experience.

    Spacious sea view room.Beautiful vista.Sunbathing area.Very good Wi-Fi.Excellent restaurant.

    Simpler lunch time food offers.

    10MichellePosted on: 10-12-2023

The garden was nice. The beach chairs and the beach were also nice. I use a manual wheelchair and was able to get around the property.

    10TrevorPosted on: 10-11-2023

The hotel staff were exceptionally professional, they organised transport from FCO and to cruise port. Sharon checked our requirements and emailed us. Beautiful location even obtained tea making facilities. Only made breakfast 1 day out of 4, day of departure and breakfast fine.

Not really a bad point but stayed 4 nights and ate all nights at hotel, would have liked to try something different on 1 or 2 nights. The deep fried " shrimp" ( king prawn) were out of this world
