- I guess the location is pretty good if you prefer to stay in the middle of no where. It's very close to little petra, the backdoor entrance.
- Everything promised was there. It's close to little Petra and Petra itself. It's super quiet and the local beduins pass through with their herds of camels
- Amazing location, really unforgettable. Place full of character, perfect for people who are not looking for the 5 stars conforts but for authentic experiences. My girls loved sleeping on the mattresses. Host very helpful, ther was a misunderstanding about the dinner (my fault, I forgot to confirm), nevertheless he managed to provide a rich and amazing dinner.
Cons -
- We did not stay in Petra Cottage. When we arrived there was no one. Even though I sent the owner two messages via WhatsApp and booking 4 and 2 hours before our arrival. We tried to message and call the owner a couple of times, but no response.. After a while, just as we were about to leave, a man showed up. He called the owner and asked us if we could wait 2 minutes. We heard the swiping of a broom and spraying sounds, and he walked out with a bin full of toiletpaper to empty it. After 5 minutes he came outside and said our room was ready. Sorry but there is no way you can properly clean a room in such a short time. Moreover, the patio area was a mess. It just did not feel good to stay here. We still had to pay for 1 night (we booked in advance for 2 nights). So we did and drove away.
- The fridge was full of mold. Unusable unfortunately
- Kitchen and toilet are very small, toilet is without washbasin so you have to use the kitchen sink.
