Pros +
- The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The included breakfast got us started on the right foot for a day of activities. The place has a beautiful garden and pool to chill. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was great too.
- The hotel was small, simple and relaxing vibe. The food was great. The staff were fantastic. We had a problem with the aircon in 2 rooms… the rooms were changed no problem at all.
- Excellent dinner, near the beach, beautiful garden
Cons -
- Bit noisy by the road.
- The check in process. Initially there was a queue so we had lunch and returned. By this time, no queue, but it took more time than I would have liked, with a receptionist who was not the friendliest (not they are not all the same and some restaurant staff are quite lovely). The rooms are basic, but equipped with that you need.
- Nothing as far as we're concerned.

Garden area, pool, great food and can bring dogs at a cost.

The gardens and pool were fabulous and the pool was extremely clean and well maintained. The food in the restaurant in the evening was first class and the breakfast was good too.
Nothing as far as we're concerned.
Room was Ok.Breakfast was not too goodPool Ok but needs modernising
Sound of cars
It is a wonderful oasis, we loved the garden, the room was very quiet despite the proximity of a busy road. We checked in late, the receptionist was welcoming and helpful.
At night you can miss the driveway it is a bit confusing as there is another chill out hotel nearby.
Beautiful oasis close to Tarifa town. Lovely staff and excellent food and drinks.Decor and rooms were really cool and the place has peaceful and chilled energy.
Beautiful, immaculate and relaxed location. Staff are very friendly and efficient and the good at the restaurant excellent. I love the tropical gardens and location so close to the coastline.
Helluva noisy. Bring ear plugs . The main road can be heard all night long. And your fellow residents next door.
The hotel pool and grounds were super. Lovely poolside restaurant. Super friendly staff. Excellent location to walk to the local beach where there were gorgeous sunsets. And a lovely beach bar.
Nothing!
I guess, the internal layout of the property is not bad, with the swimming pool, cafeteria, chairs on the lawn all spread out.
Mattress hard, room small and poorly furnished, noise from the road even during the night. Staff not helpful - I have made a mistake booking there for 6 nights and while Booking agreed to a free cancellation, the management forced me to pay for all 6 nights (EUR 987), while I stayed there only 1. Later they "refunded" me with 336 EUR for 3 nights (out of 5), which makes an average night rate of EUR 112, while I had paid EUR 164 per night. This means that (1) it was way overpriced while booking in advance and (2) the hotel was not fully occupied and rooms were available at any time.
Location and garden
Our triple room - very small
Great location near the beach and 10 minutes outside Tarifa by car. We loved the "Thailand meets Moroccan" atmosphere . The staff were all very friendly and the pool and gardens were great, very relaxing. The bed and pillows were super comfortable.
The restaurant food was ok but there are several good restaurants nearby for variety if you're going to stay there for a few days.
Cafeteria on site in good location by pool. Food and drink good with friendly, helpful staff.Location good alongside main road so easy to reach with ample parking. No excessive road noise.Choice of food good at dinnertime and still very welcoming staff.
Room was small, dated and felt unloved. Okay for overnight stay though since no need to spend much time there.
The location was excellent. Halfway between Tarifa and the beautiful Bolonia. Easy to find. The Gardens were very well looked after and really nice. The food in the restaurant was very nice. The breakfast was OK but we would have liked a cooked option (Bacon, Eggs, etc). But that's probably just an English thing. Overall we loved the place and will definitely come back.
Huge disappointment.
I booked the Tres Mares Hotel for my family with our pet for two nights but we had to leave one night early. Below I will explain why this happened. In the morning when we were about to have breakfast, the person from the restaurant started yelling at my husband and my pet that pets were not allowed walking here. Our pet was on a leash per hotel rules and did nothing. My husband just headed to the restaurant patio with him. My husband does not speak Spanish and asked this person to explain what happened in English. The person responded by impolitely saying that he did not speak English. I tried to settle the incident and asked her to bring me black tea because there was none on the buffet table. She rudely refused me. When I asked her name, she refused to give her name. It seemed very rude and we were shocked at this low level of service. My husband said it was impossible to stay in this hotel and we should leave immediately. I went to the front desk and complained to them about this situation. The receptionist gave me the name of the person from the restaurant. Her name is Sarah. After that we left this hotel.I paid at check-in for two nights plus an additional 20 euros for our pet, and in the end we got a hotel that is not friendly to animals, lost breakfast, got a spoiled mood and generally still in shock.
Pet friendly facility, location and use of pool.
Balinese design, great breakfast, nice garden, very close to the beach
Right next to a highway, bad communication of staff regarding wild fires
It was in a less busy area. Close to great kiting beaches.
It was a little tired and unloved.
Set in nice lush gardens. A Zen oasis, but unfortunately on a busy coastal road. The rooms are small, but for one night not a problem. Has a pool and the breakfast is really ample.
The beds are very hard, more like a futon.
