    Pros +

    • Just a really neat spot, if ur in tarifa go there.
    • Everything worked super well. Good facilities. I had good time with other guests. All in all super convenient place to visit.
    • It was a comfortable stay in a historic neighborhood, walking distance to the beach and many restaurants/cafes.

    Cons -

    • hot water was hard to get but other than that nothing to complain about. good spot and Tarifa is amazing.
    • Maybe it was the coworking part that gave it bit more office feeling and just bit less coziness. Probably I am the problem here. It is coworking space on purpose. If looking for co working opportunities this place is the best hostel I have seen.
    • Did not get the warmest vibes from the staff, at times I felt like my presence was imposing as a guest just by being there. Atmosphere is a bit pretentious. Not a super social type hostel, people keep to themselves and common areas don't feel as welcoming as other hostels I have stayed at.

The location of this place is very central and close to all restaurants. The staff at the reception was nice.

The rooms are much smaller than they appear on pictures. I am 175 and didn’t fit in the bed. There is a construction site starting at 7am every day right next door so forget about the sleep. Plus they have people living in the hostel (which I usually I don’t mind) but in this case they were acting like I was entering their house, they have used all the space in the room including hangers and shelves so I didn’t even have a space to put my suitcase in. They were placing things even in my ladder to go to my bed so I was able to come to my bed without them yelling at me to watch out for their things. I left after one night. There is no public space rather than a paid coworking area so unless you pay you don’t really have any area to just check your emails or to use your laptop for a little time.

    The location and internet speed

It was not clean, it was dirty

Great location in the historic center of Tarifa, close to the sea and main sights

It truly feels like a home in town. It’s just a few minutes from the beach, right in the old town, and it feels super safe, perfect for solo travelers. The facilities are amazing. They are always clean and stocked with everything you need, whether you're staying for a few days or a few weeks. The staff? Incredible. Always smiling, super helpful, and genuinely fun to be around. They’ll let you in on all the local secrets — from the best places to eat to where the party’s at.I spent a whole month working remotely from there, and the coworking space was perfect: comfy, quiet, and with everything I needed for a productive workday. If you're looking for a workation spot near the beach with great people and good vibes, this is the place.

Location, location, location!Located inside Tarifa’s old town, close to the main sights, the local market, bars & restaurants La Cocotera is only a short walk to the beachThe mixed dorm I stayed in was large and had two doors to the small balcony allowing for plenty of light and fresh air The bunk beds are sturdy and well anchored into the walls and are equipped with a personal light and plugsThe kitchen is large and well equipped and the eating area is spacious with a large table and chairsThe whole place is very well run and clean

Very clean, friendly staff and great location. Extra plus for the free coffee and tea!

Open windows in the second floor bathrooms which drags in cold air during the evening/night. Other from that, super nice place!

The hostel includes a coworking space, and you can work behind a flexible desk with a monitor, which is a huge bonus for digital nomads. The community in the hostel seems very strong and you definitely can socialize here with other nomads.

Well equiped hostel, beds were comfortable, had a curtain, LOVED the rooftopterrace, superfriendly staff, no parking but perfect location in the center with cosy small streets, walking distance from the beach

The only thing I was missing is a cosy place to hang that is not your room and not the rooftopterrace (too hot), like a living room. But it wouldn't keep me of coming back here. Just a friendly tip would be to make some shade on the rooftop terrace.

Located in the old town of Tarifa, It has an independent entrance and it's in a quiet area without noise. There is all you need for your stay.

A bit cramped, I was alone and it was fine, but for a couple it's probably a bit too small. Humidity builds up even if you open windows.

    9EvelinaPosted on: 10-19-2024

Just the perfect location when you’re on a budget and what to be in the heart of Tarifa. We brought our dog also and that was amazing. The bathrooms are so clean and the place is very well maintained and clean, very cool also, would definitely recommend to anyone. Very quiet also, expected it to be noisy for a hostel but didn’t hear anything.

The owner, Veronica is a very friendly and helpful local.

    10AndreaPosted on: 9-2-2024

Very friendly and welcoming staff, excelent position only 2 minutes walk from the center, 9 minutes walk from the beach, nice combination of hostel and coworking, lots of lovely details.

I loved staying here, and if I return to Tarifa, I will stay here again. Great kitchen and co-working space, AMAZING rooftop terrace with unbeatable views of Tarifa, nice staff, and cleaning all the time so it was always tidy :)

    Nothing, everything was great!

    10CatherinePosted on: 6-20-2024

The beds were very comfortable, the room had AC that worked well and the staff in reception were super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. They gave great recommendations for restaurants, bars, beaches and more! Loved the location and would definitely stay here again!

I can only recommend this Hostel. The rooms are clean, the beds cosy and the curtain gives you the comfort of privacy to get a good night's sleep. The location could NOT be better. The Team is always smiling and supportive. All in all a great place to meet nice people.??

There were Mosquitoes, but that's not the hostels fault.??‍♂️

Loved our little studio apt. So comfortable. Easy place to put our bikes. Perfect in every way. Even had a dehumidifier. Gal at front helped us get a ride out of town with our bikes. Very windy.

    10StephPosted on: 3-25-2024

The staff were all so kind. The environment is very relaxed. The hostel itself is very clean. The wifi was good enough in most areas for videos calls overseas. My bed was very comfortable; I slept like a baby. The location is ideal - easy to walk anywhere in town. The price was unbeatable for what you get.

    The wifi upstairs was spotty.
