Hotel Misiana Tarifa

The small size, friendly staff and great location

rooms and bathrooms were very small and smelled old and dingy

I loved the unique decor, the location and staff of the hotel. It is in walking distance to almost everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It’s right in the center where all the shops and restaurants are and five minutes walk to the port. There’s a great vibe in Tarifa and Hotel Misiana contributes to that energy.

They offer robes but not slippers.

This is what a boutique hotel should be. The value for money here was excellent given the location being close to everything.

Only issue, no parking and public parking is more expensive than other cities, $25 euros per night so that should be factored in when you decide on a hotel.

The hotel is very new and located in the main area of the old town and minutes from the port. The staff were very friendly and the decor i found to be interesting and the vibe of the property casual and fresh. It’s a small hotel but has a good restaurant with an excellent variety of food for both breakfast and later meals in the day. It also a few feet away from many restaurants and cafe’s and the beach is a short walk away. The beach is white sand and beautiful. Be prepared to bring your own chairs and towels. It was a very relaxing experience indeed.

i did not like the fact that only one key was given to us, which makes going out on your own a bit of a hassle, not the going out but coming back alone if you don’t have the key. Our room had a damp smell to it that only my wife and I could smell. The hotel staff that came to inspect the room said she did not smell anything. It was a small thing ( I hope) and we focused on enjoying our time there. Not much to not like about the hotel.

This place was my favorite stay on my extensive trip all around the coast of Spain. The staff was out of this world and exceeded every one of my expectations. The location was within walking distance of the beach and in the center of the main part of the town of Tarifa. A special shout-out to the beautiful lady with whom I took some photos together which I'll share. She made me feel so comfortable and at home in Tarifa and it's because of her and this beautiful place that I decided to stay for 3 days instead of 1. This will be my new vacation destination every year!Highly recommend visiting Tarifa and staying at Hotel Misiana! An absolute 10 out of 10!!

Absolutely nothing!

Location was great and the room was clean with modern decor. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet.

The photos show a roof terrace, but this is only available for the penthouse suite, this was a little misleading.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The staff were so friendly and the restaurant adjacent to the hotel had very helpful waiters and food. The location was great!

Location was ideal, the terrace is a great place to embrace the atmosphere of Tariffa.

Our room was a little dark, frosted window but would definitely stay there again.

Not much all good

I had a room at the back side and I could not hear any noise but only admire the beautiful white houses and roofs. I had a delicious breakfast hand made and fully vegan. The reception staff is very helpful once I forgot my pass inside and realised quite late at midnight but called the emergency number and someone came shortly to open the door for me. The room was cozy and comfortable with a soft bed to sleep on and got coffee and tea sachets available. The bathroom was clean and got enough toiletries.

The breakfast opening are a bit late for tourists. I missed one day because I had to leave to the airport.

Very central location - you're right in the middle of evening entertainment. Good views from the upper floors. Friendly staff.

The room could be a little bigger. The roof terrace belongs to the penthouse apartment and is not a common area. Since it's on a busy pedestrian street - expect some noise at all times of day.

Good location and clean. Coffee and tea provided.

Nowhere to put the bagage on. Very tiny television. The type of the room see the paid price makes no sense.

We loved this cute hotel! It is in a perfect location next to shops, bars and restaurants and the bar that is attached to Misiana is wonderful with a great breakfast! The staff here are super friendly and helpful and we wish we were able to stay longer.

More attention to detail and facilities in our room should be given .. we stayed in the junior suite on roof terrace which the terrace itself required an awful lot of maintenance and refurbishment.. the furniture was on it was all wood and not looked after ..only one sun bed which was old and rickety . The decking n places was loose and the glass door leading from the bedroom to the terrace was cracked and taped over. It was a shame as the view was fantastic .In the room itself the flowers in the vase were dead and no water in it.. the small fridge was old and the ice compartment full of ice .. not a good look.. no waste paper basket in the room nor mirror over dressing table or anywhere else in room only in bathroom. There was a large one outside the room near the lift although private there was no lightThe grouting around the sink needed redoing as we were getting ants all around the sink area as a result of them coming up through cracks THe room itself was comfortable and the beds and sofa bed were nice . Also had 2 TV sets which was a nice touch .. staff were very nice and accommodating.

Very comfortable beds and the air conditioning kept the room cool at a hot time of year. Location of hotel is excellent, very easy to find. We were able to use a parking bay close to hotel for 10 mins to unload luggage before parking in the town´s main car park (fairly expensive but understandable in a small town like this).

Great location for the old town and amazingly helpful and friendly reception staff. The hotel has bags of character.

if you are kitesurfing probably not the best location as difficult getting in and out of town with heavy kite gear. If hiring a car can only park outside town centre then a 15 minute walk

Location was great, a short walk to the beach. The hotel is located on a vibrant street, which was great. Staff were very helpful is sorting out our taxi for our departure.

Not quite like the advertised pictures, but still a nice hotel, the room was just a little tired.
