    • Staff was so nice - we had some questions about parking and directions and they helped the best they could. So close to the border - able to walk.lots of parking lots nearby. At night I noticed quite a few restaurants nearby. The AC was the best of our trip !!
    • The staff were nice and helpful
    • Well, it’s a bit of a shabby place in a bit of a shabby border town. What more is there to say? Walking distance from the bus station and Gibraltar, those are the the biggest reasons to stay here.

    Cons -

    • Room is very basic but that’s what I was expecting
    • The used condom I found in the closet, filthy cupboard, duvet with no cover, smelly corridor, rusty window, noisy street.
    • It’s all a bit rundown.

We’ve stayed here a few times before. Excellent location , easy to walk to bars , beach and border and good value for money. Has launderette attached which is very handy.

This time bed was very uncomfy and had socket hanging off wall in room.

The location was good and the staff were friendly. Other than than the place was smelly and dirty. The lights in the hallway didn't work which was very unsafe. There was no hot water in the morning for shower. We checked in at 7PM and then walked went out for dinner and walked around because we didn't want to be in the smelly room (even though we were exhausted from walking Gibraltar for 10 hours). We checked out at 630 AM the next morning after a cold "shower" and almost zero water pressure. We were glad to leave. Maybe ok for student backpackers but not suitable for family's or couples.

Everything except location. The staff were somewhat friendly and they tried to be helpful but their English was limited. It's a DUMP.

Location is fantastic, right in the city center, where the bars and restaurants are and 15 minutes from the border with Gibraltar

The beds where short, maybe 1.70 meters

Great position close to the beach. Lots of great bars and restaurants and two or three small supermarkets within easy walking distance. Lovely gardens to sit in with lots of tables and chairs in the sunshine and shaded areas. Room had a fridge which was handy.

A little more hanging space and storage would be good for clothes.

LA CAMPANA is a Nice & Basic Hostal... Very Clean & Maids Came Even on Sundays! ... Very Friendly & Welcoming Reception & Cleaning Staff... Great Location in the Heart of La Linea Town & Very Close Walk to La Linea & Gibraltar Border or La Linea Bus Station for Buses to the Spanish Coast...

Great location. Friendly staff and very clean. Good air con .

Small thing and was easily sorted, we only had one bedside table which was tiny and no desk or anything else in room so just asked for a chair so we had space each for our stuff.

Really loved this pension. It's family run, cozy, next to center. The staff is attentive and helpful, they are smiling also. Don't hesitate to ask infos to them. It is so near to bus station, super position. Breakfast is not possible, but you can find it literally under the pension. You can go by foot to Gibraltar!!

    9AnthonyPosted on: 6-11-2024

The lift spacious room friendly staff and location by the park close to restaurants and only a 5 minute walk to Gibraltar

    Everything great

    10AmyPosted on: 6-6-2024

Location was perfect. Clean and staff were helpful and very friendly.

    Noisy at night.

    7LillyPosted on: 6-5-2024

Very cheap and only a short walk to Gibralta. There are parking garages nearby with resonable multi-day parking prices. We got a room with more beds than needed. We could open the window for fresh air as it gets quite warm in March

It felt a bit rundown. The drains in the bathroom smelled (keeping the bathroom door closed kept this out of the rest of the room). The shower was quite small and low.

    5KerriPosted on: 5-30-2024

Very rundown and tired, very small rooms, no amenities, terrible pillows

Close to the bus station and the Gibraltar border crossing. Staff was very friendly and helpful
