Position, street parking, bright fresh room , fridge in room.
Slightly run down part of town.
The hotel was clean and tidy
The hotel is very dated, could do with a lick of paint, breakfast room was very dated
Excellent location, close to train and bus stations, shops and restaurants. Well equipped room with fridge and tv, kettle supplied on request. Friendly staff, good breakfast and late night bar. Reception open 24 hours.
Air con didn't work, we didn't mention it as we only stayed a couple of nights so it wasn't an issue.
We got stranded after the Big Blackout. So flights cancelled we had to rebook but could only get Thursday 1st may. So we had to stay 3 nights. It was all so frightening to arrive to a dark hotel and carry luggage up stairs. But the nice gentleman gave us the 1st floor and complimentary water. It had everything you need in your room and clean. Very nice breakfast. Very quaint hotel with lovely staff. About 12mns walk to the marina shops and bars.
Old fashioned shower and just a bit outdated.
Very clean comfortable hotel
I recognise staff were under pressure with cancellation of flights at airport but were not helpful to people who were also very stressed.
Hotel would not answer emails or issue a refund. I had no confirmation they were open. Left us with nowhere to stay
No contact, no refund
It was during the power outage so the staff did the best they could without any lighting. We were helped by torchlight to our room up 4 floors and the staff member did carry a heavy suitcase for us.
Perhaps the hotel could do with a generator for such.occasions or even provided battery tealights
Awful hotel, rude managers. Stay clear.
Incredibly rude staff, my room flooded two times because of poor plumbing and the management said it was my fault which is completely incorrect. I had been in hospital and needed help from a friend which they charged him 35 euro two times and he did not stay. I was also charged a full amount for a late check out as my friend could not help me until they finished. There was no sympathy in any of these matters also the main manager Ewrado F. Zocoption threatened to call the police on me because I wasn't going to pay and was yelling at me. All over an absolutely horrible experience.
Value for money
Frequent disconnection of the WiFi.Room viewSome crockery and Kettle could be facilitated.
Room is simple, but clean - there was no problems with hot water, it was quiet. We really loved breakfast - very good. Warm buns, fresh fruit salad, juice.

Good stay with no problems staff very friendly, helpful, and spoke English. The room clean and cleaned though out our stay. Would use again and recommend as an affordable accommodation.
Beds a bit hard and charged 2 euros per day for safety deposit box.
Staff were very welcoming, we had a choice of rooms, which we could see before deciding. Always a warm smile from all staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Everywhere was clean. Reception area and bar was good, comfy chairs and a reasonably stocked bar. 2 star rating was correct I'd say.
Hotel was dated and rooms basic, paid extra to use the safe in the bedroom. Breakfast was basic, nothing was really fresh, however there was a reasonably good choice. The area around the hotel was quite run down, walking to the railway and bus station was grim, pavements uneven and potholes.
Good little Hotel and value for money. Great breakfast. Easy to get into town within walking distance
Would have been nice ro take a bath but no plug. Also no kettle in room although we had a cuppa downstairs
Very clean place.
The property is very old, smell is very strong.
I see other people have called this place "practical" and I agree with this 100% but it was a bit nicer than this. Good points were 24hr reception which was a big bonus when your plane is delayed into Faro airport until late night or beyond. Staff mostly spoke English and were all helpful and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice for several days. Location was a 10-15 minute brisk walk from the railway, bus station and town centre but you have to check a map because it isn't very direct. It is a taxi or bus ride from the airport but you can't avoid this because the airport road takes a considerable loop into town..
There was some noise through the roof of the large sports hall opposite which seems to stage sports events sometimes with a commentator until late at night. This was the main downside.
Very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Quiet location.
Only negative was that the room was a bit cold at night in December.
