Roots Hotel

Staff was amazing, and the room was like a mini apartment. Could not have asked for anything more. My wife and I are planning on coming back in April.

Manuel on reception was amazing he was extremely welcoming and made us feel at ease immediately. The hotel is immaculately clean and the decor is beautiful. The rooms have everything you could possibly need and the beds are super comfortable. Free coffee is available day and night in the communal area, which is also decorated beautifully and is a nice place to relax. All in all a great hotel, i would definitely stay here if i was visiting Faro again.

Location, flexibility, clean with good facilities

We enjoyed the place even for a short stay to get some rest. Quite a new hotel. We love the possibility of parking inside and charging the car while staying. It safes us some time on the the trip. Great breakfast boxes! Great open cafeteria. Great welcoming and helpful receptionists. Close by walk to the city.

Even though the hotel was perfect, location great, I didn't found the city itself interesting (first impression). So the low for me was the city and scenery. We found the museum to be closed as well as the church. As the storm was expected to come we did not explore location far on boat.

Very central location, the hotel is very cozy decorated. Staff are very kind and helpful.

Location is good for walking into Faro. Close to bus station for trips further afield. Very quiet and a 24 hour reception.

Breakfast box didn't cater for those who had a dietary requirement. However facilities in the kitchen area of your room enabled you to buy things to make your own at the hotel rather than have to go out each day to find a café.

This was a great small hotel a short walk from the train station. Modern, clean, a spacious room with a small kitchen so more like a studio apartment. Small balcony from which we could glimpse the sunset. Every thing one needs.

I honestly can’t think of a thing.

The staff were really welcoming. I appreciated the fridge and walk ability here. There were nearby grocers and restaurants. We walked everywhere. We had an evening bus and they were so nice to let us hang out in the lobby for a while before continuing our journey.

Great location, very clean and comfortable

Clean, comfortable and convenient to train station and Old Town. I have stayed here twice when I was flying from Faro or taking the train.

The location, spaciousness and cleanliness of the room/apartment.

We had a one bedroom apartment with a lovely patio and city views. The city is walkable and the hotel's location made it easy to get to the port, where we had an early morning ecotour by boat. The staff was warm and helpful, and we were able to find street parking nearby.

There were very view cons, but we would have appreciated having two suitcase stands so we didn't have to put our suitcases on the floor.

Excellent facilities - practical and flexible for all kinds of guests, stylish and modern.

Underground parking is quite tight, but they did warn us and gave us good tips

Location was a little bit dodgy… one block further away was quite run down. Hard to park in the vicinity

Perfect Location. Clean. Refurbished property. Free coffee 24 hours, pool, room extremely big. Staff was excellent.

Can't think of anything I didn't like.

Close to train station

Wi-Fi at least for our room was bad. I had to put my phone out in the hallway to connect. Kept turning off in the room.

Excellent location. Close to the Marina and old town with bars and restaurants.

Check in was efficient and friendly. They reserved a spot in the garage for me and assisted in entering. Recommended local restaurants in the area.

Tight parking garage but acceptable for the size of vehicle we had. Pool was too cold to enjoy at this time of year.

Loved the decor overall. Very boutique like. The rooms were amazing. Fit all the necessities in a small space.The staff was very friendly.
