The staff was very professional and extremely kind.

The beach is pretty narrow surrounded with new construction sites.

Kempinski service is the best

Breakfast not as I expected. Not good to have to walk through the restaurant to go to the kids club Why are the toilets for the pool so far away?

Beautiful Hotel in a nice area of Muscat - The Wave. Staff was super friendly as expected from Kempinski Hotel - very forthcoming and helpful at any time. The breakfast has a huge selection of pretty much all you can think of. We especially loved the fresh juices and big fresh fruit selection. Beds are super comfortable, spacious bathroom with shower and free standing bathtub. Lovely pool area with beach view and access to the beach with plenty of sunbeds as well. While we did not use the gym or spa facilities, everything looked nice as well.

Minor downsides that we noticed with a 5-star-facility:It feels like there is a too small amount of sunbeds and also the pool seems quite small considering the amount of guests. Also the coffee at breakfast is from fully automatic coffee machines and did not convince with the taste, unfortunately. The freshly made egg dishes at breakfast arrived late and cold to our table, but were tasty regardless. As we don’t like wasting food we opted not to reorder though.

Very poor wifi, dinner restaurant poor and expensive. I tried the thai restaurant. Better go out for dinner. The hotel is very modern and lacks character.

The staff, the food & facilities were very nice. Dunya, Abbas & Muhammad were extremely welcoming & professional. The concierge was also quite helpful.

We could not use the TV as there were not many channels. & the system could only pair with Android which was an inconvenience.

Food is excellent, hotel is renovated & clean. Service staff is very good.

I came with my mother and asked the hotel staff several times in advance for the twin bed room. I would change the hotel in case I know in advance that my request cannot be guaranteed. And finally, when we arrived there were no single twin bed room. They made me upgrade and put a kids bed in my room, but this was not the quality I expected. I would accept downgrade of the room type but with twin bed.

Beautiful hotel with all the facilities you might want. And very comfortable rooms. Breakfast buffet was amazing!

The wait for food and drinks was not what you would expect at a hotel like this. The staff at the front desk and room service was great but the staff at the restaurant, pool and beach bar seemed under staffed.

From the time we walked into the lobby, to the time we left for the airport, everything was absolutely amazing. Facilities, room, beach, restaurant and lounge, and, of course, the service.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing food and staff. The beach was lovely too not too overcrowded.

I was greeted with professionalism and excellent service from check-in to check-out. The buffet breakfast and brunches were tasty, appealing and variety of selections. All the employees went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I must give extra recognition to Zin, Virginia, Ismil, and ----dirma (I cannot remember the correct spelling of her name but the last few letters were dirma, like 'dram.'

The location was beautiful and posh but it was too far from major attractions, that is the reason I only stayed a few days to relax and checked in a different hotel near city center.

Nice property everything basically ok, Bukhara restaurant def worth a visit! Only issue is we paid less for W Muscat and got a better room with balcony and sea view! But it was ok overall otherwise.

Breakfast buffet was excellent. Pool looked lovely although we didn't use it. Room was spacious.

The staff were very helpful and professional, the hotel location was good, the area has a lot of cafes and restaurants to choose from.

The bed mattress was very hard, the breakfast was good not great, the pool was average.

Cleanliness, interior design is so beautiful and the purple color used is elegant…

The hotel transportation (Marhaba) was very expensive… and when I tried to order Yango they were not allowed to pick me up from the main gate…

Bright, airy, modern design

The location, going in and out of “ the wave”, the roundabout just before you get into the was was very mismanaged, either need to replace the roundabout with traffic lights and have an additional forking lane as you get into the wave from 18 November street.

Check in was great

Check out wasn’t up to standard. First no one came to clean the room in the morning, given that we payed extra for the check out timing to be at 6 pm. However we came to the room at 2 and the room wasn’t cleaned.Second, for the check out, we requested our luggage to be collected at 4:10 but no one showed up to take the luggage so we had to take our luggage down our self given we have two baby strollers.
