    • This family owned hotel is wonderful. We communicated weeks in advance of our arrival for them to book safaris for us. It was nice to have it taken care of upon our arrival. The hotel is down the street from the main drag where we pick up our canter. It's the first stop, so we always had front row seats. The staff was great in arranging a last minute trip to Ranthambore Fort. On site rooftop restaurant was convenient with wide selection of items and reasonably priced. One thing to note, hotel does not take credit card; cash only. No problem because there is an ATM down the street.

    Cons -

    • This is a very ordinary hotel; I don't understand the high ratings it receives on Booking.com.Among the things I didn't like about this hotel: the location, the very weak internet connection, and the noise coming from the hallway, the reception area, and other rooms.
    • Bed was a bit too firm for us, but that was very minor.
    • No windows in room. No mood lighting.

Super friendly, knowledgable, responsive, and helpful staff! Anshuman, who runs the place with his Dad, is fabulous and also speaks excellent English. Able to organize our safaris and great restaurant on site. The location works well. It's a bit further from the park than some of the fancier hotels, but that means you often get picked up first and have first choice to get the best seats!

Bed was a bit too firm for us, but that was very minor.

The hotel is nice, hosts were very helpful. They booked a safari tour for me which was good. They also arranged for a taxi to take me to the Fort which I enjoyed even more than the safari. Food was not expensive and rather good. Very clean room, hot water and good wifi. Location is good, close to the station so one can walk if one wants to avoid local transportation. It was great to be in nature and away from cars and traffic.

This hotel really goes the extra mile to serve its customers. The quality is really high and the price is very reasonable for what is provided. They booked our safaris for us and arranged for us to be picked up and dropped off at the hotel. Great service from great staff, thank you

The property is a great ‘budget’ option for Ranthambore safaris. The surrounding hotels we found to be very expensive. As you are barely in the hotel this is an excellent option. We had a lovely room with a balcony where we could relax in between safaris. We ate each night in the hotel as safari days are long and the food is excellent. Hearty and home cooked. The staff will happily make recommendations if you can’t decide what to order. Anshuman is a perfect host he was amazing at organising our safaris for us prior to arrival. He gave us all the options and made recommendations. Zone is 100% more important than vehicle. There were no available jeeps in the best zones so we went by canter and saw a tiger! Obviously there are no guarantees as these are wild animals in a huge area but some zones (1-5) are better (our guide said it’s about a 30% chance of seeing one) in comparison to the outer zones where sightings are less frequent (according to our guide). We paid part via western union before arrival and the rest in cash upon arrival. We genuinely had a really lovely stay and we would absolutely return in the future.

We don’t have a single bad thing to say about our stay at Tiger Haveli. Nice clean rooms, rooftop restaurant, quiet good location just few minutes walk from the main road, and the staff were the best part, being extremely accommodating and helpful with booking safaris as well as organizing taxis and looking into bus schedules for us. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic staff. Really helped me out when I had Delhi Belly. Great restaurant on the rooftop.

No windows in room. No mood lighting.

    10MeganPosted on: 7-6-2025

The staff was amazing and they booked my tiger safaris in the BEST zones. They were so helpful for the entire trip. I traveled alone and felt safe here.

Great room and onsite restaurant. The staff looked after us well and ensured we had the best possible experience.

The staff were outstanding and so lovely. They arranged the tiger safaris for us with no problem. (We got to witness a hunt!) Also arranged for us to go to another hotel in between our two safaris for a rest after we checked out. (We paid the other hotel too but we were happy to do this!) they gave us a lift to the hotel that was within walking distance and even arranged a tuktuk to pick us up from the hotel at the end of the day and drop us off at the station. It’s a lovely family run hotel and all they wanted to do was help as much as they could! Lovely people, lovely place! Thank you so much!

We found a little gecko in our room but we loved him so for us, this isn’t a negative :)

We made a booking at this hotel after Reading all the good reviews, Even though we had our concern since the Price was so low. This is by far the best service I have Ever received in my life! Anshuman attended every need we had, and was very helpful with questions even after having checked out. We only stayed here one night due to a safari, but I would gladly had stayed longer. I would recommend to book the safari through the hotel rather than the link that is provided by Ranthambore National Park. I paid 4000 INR incl. service fee, but if I had booked through the hotel it would have cost me approx. 3200 INR (zone 3). The room was basic, but the AC was perfect, spacious, had hot water etc. The dinner at the hotel was really good, specially the garlic chapati. It is only a few minutes away from the main Road, so it means you dont hear any noise from the Road:) I would definitely stay here again ☺️

I have no negative comments. It was extremely good value for money

Hotel was spotless, room was spotless and staff were so friendly. Food was available all day, snacks and full meals. They can organise Safari's at a moments notice. Great value for money and wouldn't hesitate to book again

Bed a little hard for my bad back but a very minor point

    9VincentPosted on: 4-19-2025

There are good, clean rooms and the hotel has its own restaurant, which serves nice food. But the best thing is the effort the staff puts in providing you with all you need and especially in arranging the safari's in Ranthambore NP.

Nothing really. The hotel is located a bit of the main road, but that is hardly a issue in practice.

Lovely little family run hotel. Big, clean room. Room service was available to us as we were tired after a day of travelling.Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful with anything from organising collection from train station, helping understand train tickets to ordering auto rickshaw or organising an amazing safari (they offered great advice into which zone to go for safari, which we didn’t have a clue about).Cannot recommend them enough.

    10BarathPosted on: 4-11-2025

The hotel is fantastic, clean and the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. It's a great value for money and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Ranthambore. Uncle ji and his son also help with Safari tours and taxi visits to nearby places, so you can make use of that during your stay.

A funny one.We ended up staying here two nights. They managed to sort out our canter safari for £3250…so only slightly inflated from base price I think. There was some miscommunication around the leaving time on day one - they said in room at 0545 and downstairs at 0600. We got phoned and chased at 0555 saying they had been waiting for 10 mins… Seemed a little bizarre considering they do it every day!We were in zone 2 the first time (saw a tiger) and zone 10 the second time (saw more animals on the way to the fort!) Obviously not their fault - however wouldn’t bother with buffer zones. They sorted us out a cab to the fort but it was rather expensive. We didn’t eat here but had beers on the roof terrace. We chose to eat out to break up the monotony of being in the same place for so much time!!Rooms were adequate, however not much going on at the place, the tv didn’t have any channels on it.

Good location not far from the roadThe outside and rooftop is nice

Got sick for 2 days because of the lunch (I had chicken) my wife had veggie option and didn’t get sick so maybe better to avoid meat
