Nice pool area and a short walk into town

It was very expensive for the quality of the room and bathroom. I was also disappointed that you couldn’t even get a coffee until 8:30, I think they should offer coffee and pastry to all the early risers.

Room was surprisingly large and very private - loved the outdoor patio facing the pool. Staff was SO sweet & helpful - the front desk manager has us a list of places we should visit before we left the area and we had a lovely day trip as a result. Breakfast was perfect and the restaurant area was so nice. We are already talking about coming back next year with our families!

We reallybenjoyed Vila Luz. Beautiful location just outside of main town was very quiet and comfortable. Nice staff, good breakfast and clean throughout. Easy parking. Highly recommend.

TV had poor signal and limited channels, but wifi was fine.

Very welcoming reception desk host, gave information about local restaurants, beautiful location and pool and sauna, comfortable room with kitchenette.

We had an amazing room with an incredible view.Great breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs !Hillary and Joao were especially helpful.’Deep bathtub was very much enjoyed!Sunrise from the spacious balcony was amazing.Being able to cook some snacks was appreciated

This was an amazing find for us, loved our stay at what felt like a boutique hotel. Perfect location for walking into town or hiking the cliffs. Great breakfast included too.

I wish the pool was heated. It was a too cold to stay in long.

The staff is extremely kind, and welcoming. Our room was superb, with a comfortable bed and gorgeous view. The breakfasts, drinks and dinner were all quite good; and the pool area is very relaxing.

A few of the chairs and umbrellas by the pool are broken and need to be replaced.

The property was beautiful. The private suite we had had a separate pool away from the main pool. We were just across the street from the the ocean in the path that you can walk. When exploring the property, we found a sauna which you can reserve and looks right over the ocean while you’re sitting in there. The unit itself was set up wonderfully.

The Hotel is incredible, perfect for a family vacation! The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. All the areas are very clean, the maintenance is well done, the external areas and the gardens are beautiful, all the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The only point to improve is the time that the breakfast starts, we though is too late. It starts just at 08:30am, and we would like to start to enjoy the vacations days earlier. And we also saw a lot of other guests just waiting around the breakfast starts, so it was not just us.

I absolutely love Vila Luz. I loved the staff, the rooms, breakfast. Great WiFi. Everything was wonderful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Vila Luz! The location was amazing with a wonderful view of the ocean. The apartment was well equipped and clean. The area is perfect for both a quiet vacation and an adventurous tour around the Algarve. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous setting with easy parking. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was always willing to help. The breakfast was wonderful.

I’d love for the coffee machine in the bar to be available 24/7 and more menu options.

The pools were beautiful; the apartment was a good size and very functional. I could not have found a better property so close to the beach.

Fabulous hotel with very friendly staff. Great breakfast too. We stayed in a one bed apartment with a pool and sea view with our dog and it was perfect. By far the best dog friendly hotel we have stayed in and so nice they don't discriminate on the size of the dog like a lot of hotels do. We will definitely be back!

Communication prior to the trip. There is no direct way to get from the airport to Luz by public transport. We had expected a shuttle service which was mentioned. It was not available.

The apartment could do with a new shower head maybe and is basic, but absolutely fine, we were comfortable and content.

Usual thing to not like as is the case with practically every building in the Iberian Peninsula and beyond, you can hear the neighbours as the walls are hollow clay bricks. Take some ear plugs if like me you sleep lightly.
