Coral Sun Beach

We arrived late Friday evening due to leaving another hotel and we were welcomed with smiles and a cooling pineapple drink.We had a late arrival dinner and some drinks before being shown to our room which I thought was a nice touch.Our room was in a very quiet part of the hotel which we needed for rest which was a 2 minute walk to the reception, spa facilities and swimming pool and a 5 minute walk to the sea.Our room was very spacious with ample wardrobe space complete with tea/coffee making facilities and a balcony with chairs and a table.We instantly fell in love with the simplicity of the design of the hotel, a rich blue and white colour which complimented the style of the building as well as the quietness of the lobby and even the dining area. The hotel is geared towards adults of a middle age and this is what we wanted, a nice calming relaxing atmosphere.The staff are very friendly with lots of smiles who are always ready to help, especially the gentleman who works behind the bar and the waiter who usually cuts and serves meat in the middle of the dining area.We booked the hotel solely for rest and spa facilities which we took full advantage of. The spa offers a wide range of services including massages, saunas and relaxing activities.Due to our ill health we bought 10 massages at a very good price with a plentiful discount.Each massage session lasted for an hour and was with Carlos and Fatima. They are highly recommended and will certainly help.The hotel is quaint and compact with all its facilities within walking distance of two or three minutes.

We had an issue with our shower which resulted in 5 days of not having hot water and was met with promises from the staff that it will be fixed tomorrow. (It wasn’t)We had to call 3 times regarding this issue and the last time we had to raise the problem with Booking.The general manager soon contacted us and was very apologetic about the matter and told us he was not made aware of the issue by his fellow staff members but as soon as he found out he promised to fix the issue. Within a day it was fixed and we had hot water.I guess the communication between staff members and the manager could be a lot better as the manager went above and beyond to make us happier and to fix the problem.We were gifted some fruit as a sorry and I told him that the only meaningful compensation that the hotel could give us was to set up a romantic dinner table for 2 by the sea which would be more than enough because I was going to pay for this as a surprise for my partner. They were more than happy to do so, so this is what we agreed upon.The following few hours later the hot water was fixed and all was well.Another issue we had was with the aircon, we couldn’t set the temperature to an ideal setting, we set the temperature to 25c it was too cold. We then set the temperature to 26c it was too hot so there really wasn’t a happy medium.The cold setting was just too cold no matter how high the temperature was, the exact opposite for the heat setting.

Hotel Rooms Division manager Mr.Peter he was great and smart , he could fix our problems from the second day after the wrong room cause of the overbooking they had , Also Mr,Shenouda at the reception night shift he was great listener and he could deliver our concerns to hotel management, TH e hotel was great and all the staff specially The Food and beverage waiters and their management

The hotel is on a beautiful beach, lots of sunloungers, superb snorkeling. We stayed in a deluxe room which had been recently renovated. Was just like the photos and had a very large balcony. Food was excellent for a hotel buffet. Extremely clean hotel. Very helpful staff. Very quiet hotel , no loud music by the pool.

Essentiel to be able to climb some stairs to restaurant.

Nothing at all.. AC is bad and the food was bad and the staff ia not helpfull.. the worst experience ever… even they people peeeing in the sea!

- The beach is amazing with corals and colorful fish.- Location ( small resort but cozy)- Animation

- Food quality and variety- Most of the Staff is not qualified or trained- Hygiene! Food and drinks; The cups are manually washed with water only without sterilizing or even using soap. (Attached below a video for clarification).I got very tired with huge stomach aches, diarrhea and vomiting all night!- Pool is very small if you are a pool guy.- No safeguards at the pool. My girl fell in the water without anyone noticing.- The trampoline in the kids area is totally unsafe; it’s not surrounded with a fence, and my girl flew out of it while playing.

The beach and views where amazing. The staff were always smiling.

Was a great venue for a short stay.

The facility had many different 'wings" so you can request options to be by the pool and action or off on the side in quieter areas. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The dive center is a minute walk in the sister resort making it very easy to plan and schedule dives. We had a late evening flight and were able to store our bags during the last day and then they provided us access to a shower before we left for the airport. We were one of the very few non-German guests, but that was not a problem at all. We loved our time there and wish we could have spent a few more days.

You had to learn how to navigate the food. We are very adventurist and love a lot of different things. Some of the food was excellent, while other things were just ok. A lot of things tasted the same. But all in all, we learned very quickly how to search out what we knew we liked.

Spacious rooms. The coral is just off the beach. You can easily see colorful corals and a great variety of fish if you snorkel here.

Extremely bad food. Buffet features cheap vegetable and smelly fish. They have an Italian restaurant where service and food is almost a joke. WiFi not free. Prices are high, apparently raised by elderly Europeans spending winter time here.
