ibis Styles Dunarea Galati

I love my stay at Ibis, everything was perfect. However at some point the water in the bathroom was smelling kinda bad and I don’t know but I figured it was a general problem with water infrastructure rather than a problem in the room. The place was peaceful, really nice and will definitely be back!

very noisy, they played music on the front terrace till 1:30 am and resumed the music at 7:00 am on Sunday morning. Staff was useless.

A small minus is that the evening staff is barely speaking romanian … and thir english is not very well too. On the other hand, very welcoming people!

Small and very noisy room for some reason the laundry was opposite the room I sat this time and it was lots of noise from 6AM. Room was quite small.

The staff is really friendly and the place is clean. It's a great, no-frills hotel that charges a fair price. Overall, I'd say that it's a good value for money.

I didn't like the fact that there were hardly any vegetarian options at breakfast. Also, the wifi doesn't always work. And the taxis with which the hotel collaborates are touch and go -- and driver who came to pick me up was very, very rude.

I arrived in the evening of a hot day with temperatures of 35 degrees. When I entered the room, the air conditioner does not work (unless the card is inserted into the electrical network unlocking device). What's more, the balcony door is open so that all the 35 degrees outside can enter the room. I wanted some cold water. The refrigerator is also non-functional. Remote control from the climate with discharged batteries. The room did not cool down until morning.This is to see how pro-client oriented the hotel staff / system is.

The services provided by Ibis Galati was great! The hotel itself is nice, the room was quite big. We traveled with the dog and we liked that hotel is friendly for pets. Breakfast has different kinds of food, so guests has choice.Personal showed high level! Everyone was attentive to the guests needs. Danube is quite near by and there are nice places to go around the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hospitality. If we travel to Galati again we’ll stay in Ibis only!

Insect nets on the windows, had mosquitos on the first night due to the fact that I opened the window for some air.

Modern facilities, air conditioning available, very clean and tidy.

Breakfast didn’t have much variety, the bed wasn’t completely comfortable but it was ok, small space between chair and bed, and the TV wasn’t smart and only Romanian speaking channels were available.

Very nice rooms, good size, very clean, small balcony; breakfast very good; location excellent in the city center with small parc nearby if you need to walk your dog.

The guy at reception was amazing and helpful he gave me his own charger to use.

Perfect location, right in the city center.

No parking, you have to search around the hotel and the most annoing thing is that you can pay only until 8 am in the morning. But the receptionists first question was about the parking and she informed us we can leave our plate number at the desk and they will pay for us first thing in the morning. Which they did. The ammunt is 2,5 euros for the day. Very noisy, we woke up early because of the traffic noise.

There was a lot of noise during the night of tourists coming in around 2pm and 4pm. That is not the fault of the hotel. Yet, the walls/doors seem to be very thin, if all if that noise can be heard this easily.

The breakfast had great choice,the bed was comfortable and the reception staff were very attentive ,helpful and friendly.
