Faleza Hotel by Vega

Nothing, really.

No water for the night, no toilet paper, no clean pillow cases.. just a bad experience all around.

Definitely would recommend this hotel. Big room , bathroom with bath tub and shower .Close to city center and few restaurants nearby. Breakfast available with decent food. Excellent coffee ☕. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely I will stay here again...

Breakfast decent but not huge variety. Still plenty if you're not very fussy.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good value for the offered amenities. Nice view of the Danube river. Decent breakfast (a little more diversified would be great).

The tv in the room was an older model and the tv signal was poor (may not apply to all rooms). The balcony was huge but it felt like a loss of space because it had 2 chairs and a coffee table in one corner and all the rest was empty (some decorations would greatly improve it).

Beautiful river view. Good location next to the river promenade and the pedestrian street. Clean, comfortable beds.

Parking spaces not enough, if you arrive late be prepared to find street parking. Some.of the rooms are with levels, so if you push a luggage cart,.get to the floor by elevator, but then, in the middle of the hallway, there's 2-3 stairs and you have to park the luggage cart and carry your luggage to the room, because of the stairs you can't push any further.

Great stay in Galati, close to the river and the city center. Breakfast was quite decent.

The location is just perfect

Arriving around 22:00 at the property and the sofa bed was not ready for sleep. The staff is friendly but not so smiling and the cleaners sometimes talked loud on the corridors early in the morning. A beautiful hotel but think need so much to improve.

No value for money as the room itself seemed outdated but a good water pressure and a nice soft mattress on the bed for a good night sleep. Having a shower proved challenging because the cloth shower curtain flooded slightly the bathroom and the drain seemed completely blocked. The balcony was small but with a view of the Danube although it was on the corner of the building due to the hotel being fully booked and despite our booking with a clear view. Good choice of restaurants as part of the hotel with good selection of food and drinks, we loved the one right beneath our room. Due to the price we would not recommend this location and would not use again as it seems overpriced. Overall an outdated hotel, which lacked the standards of western countries, no customer service, fridge not plugged in, no extra pillows , no extra toiletries, altogether the location was alright and the restaurants.

So many things, from the moment you walk into the hotel until you leave.

Cleanliness, location, nice restaurants, quiet even above a circulated street.

The fridge had to be turned off at night because of noise. The phone charger wouldn’t work if the access card is not attached. Some fixtures in the bathroom were a bit loose.

The hotel needs a small gym. Otherwise it is faultless with a good breakfast, firm beds and clean

The hotel has been changed on the day of arrival at the last moment. Due to maintenance in the original Hotel...?‍♂️ Booking APP didn't inform us about the changes of the hotel during booking time...Small sofa, compared to the proposal on the photos ?

Bar area and food purchased from here was very nice. Although quite pricey.

Arrived 11.40pm to check in as arranged through app, only to find the Hotel Closed for refurbishment! Called the contact number and was advised us to go to the Vega Hotel 400 yards away as they were accepting all bookings and was surprised that we were not previously informed. Got checked into a room without much information but as we were tired just crashed. In the morning were went again to reception as the bed in the room squeaked on every movement.They agreed to change it to room 209 which had a better bed but the shower sprayed more water on the floor resulting in a massive slippery floor and dangerous. I used all the 4 towels dry the floor. The shower and the curtain were in poor repair and reception called maintenance to affix the shower head tighter to the wall. This helped but still appalling for a hotel. Breakfast lacked the availability of English Tea bags, only fruit teas and coffee available, thankfully brought my own but the largest cup was pathetically small, need to bring my own mug on our next visit. All hot food was not hot and was not enjoyable to eat. I lived on toast for 5 days. When asked for salted butter, got told its next to the bread. When we showed the staff the butter clearly was Unsalted got told that sorry that is all we have.

Hotel faleza is in renovation and they redirect the guests to Vega hotel. I got at top floor (10)and during the night it was noises from air conditioning and I could not get a good sleep. They should not keep getting reservations for hotel Faleza because the whole hotel is in renovation

Location and river view

I booked a king size bed but there were 2 separate beds. Stuff at the reception insisted on not changing the room, and also there is not a single bottle of complimentary water in the room, reception charged it to me, I'm surprised.

Location, suite size and restaurant/bar were all according to expectations for a city like Galați.

All good, seriously, no complaint whatsoever.

It was our first experience with Faleza Hotel, and we are very excited to stay there. Very comfortable rooms, with all necessary features including. Good breakfast is a big plus, only the time serving would be better to have until 10:00.

Nothing to complain

Perched atop the Danube embankment, the majestic Faleza Hotel by Vega smack in the centre of Galaţi pampers its guests with stylish air-conditioned rooms that provide entrancing city vistas, a buffet breakfast, and secure private parking. My room was cosy and luxuriously furnished, allowing me to admire the Fortified Church of Precista right outside my window. The bathroom was spacious and clean, equipped with complimentary toiletries. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent, and the water pressure was stunning. Oh, and I absolutely loved the ''heavy-duty'' hair dryer! The only downside was that I could not stay longer.
