Green Park Boutique Hotel

If you ever wanted to experience a touch of that Downton Abbey flair, albeit in a contemporary setting, this is a good place to start. The room was inviting, had plenty of space and was carefully decorated with that less-is-more style in mind, without being silly minimalistic. The same is true for the public spaces and hallways. The staff is friendly, but discreet and precise. The breakfast buffet offers a non-nonsense variety of items, all of very good quality. As soon as one passes the main entrance, any pending problems one might have seem to sort themselves out and a more peaceful state of mind ensues. I might only be imagining it all, but next time I'll bring a suit.

Friendly staff, great location, excellent if you have a wedding in the city or if you have a long trip and need a break.

I had an excellent stay in the new part of the hotel. The hotel is a 7 minute walk from the Focsani train station and another 10 minutes walk to the city center. The check in went smoothly, the hotel owners and staff are all very nice. The room was large, clean, comfortable, properly heated, with good quality towels and bed linen. I saw an amazing sunrise from my room. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this place if you are coming to Focsani. Great value for money!

Great breakfast, buffet plus you get to ask for eggs, omlet etc. We needed breakfast earlier than the official time and it was prepared specially for us, with excellent service.

Avoid going to this hotel! The owner is rude and treating his employees poorly!

This hotel doesn’t even deserve 1 of 10, and not because of the place itself. The building looks nice, and the receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming. HOWEVER, we had the "privilege" of interacting with the owner, and that's where everything went downhill. He's a rude, grumpy old man who treated the receptionist and everyone around him like garbage.At first, I thought he might just be having a bad day, but after checking other google reviews, it’s clear this is a pattern. All the negative feedback seems to revolve around his awful behavior.There are plenty of other nice hotels in Focșani—avoid this one if you want to be treated with basic respect.

Excellent location, very nice and clean hotel, staff extremely polite and friendly, good breakfast. Stayed twice one night and will come back if ever in Focșani. Thank you.

If there's a little something to improve: I wish there was more than just a single and very soft pillow.

We did not expect a room without windows (Mansarde). There was no information about this in Booking.com. This diminished our enjoyment.

Our favorite hotel when we visit Focsani, everything its perfect, large rooms ,nice furniture ,verry clean and also friendly staff!

Nothing that I disliked.Maybe a minibar in the room and a dinner option in the hotel would add to the confort. But there are a couple of nice restarurants very near, so it is not a big issue.

Location

- no blackouts at the wiindows. There is full light in the room at 6 am.All the tables had dirty table clothes, I had to choose the one that was less dirty.

The building is beautiful and the rooms enormous, though my room was a little hot for my liking (but that was easily remedied by turning off the radiator). The staff were delightful and friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.

There wasn't anything to complain about at all.

It is a very beautiful building and the staff were very friendly. I was disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed because the menu looked superb.

The rooms in the old building don't have windows. Just a trap in the ceiling for natural light.The rooms are in a bad shape, with paint and pieces of the wall falling. Scratches and dirt on the walls. The rug is starting to curl on the edges of the room, and you can see the floor under.If you need to stay here, ask for a room in the newly constructed building.
