Mai Chau Xanh Bungalow

The property is in Lac village, clean, nice and convenient with shops, restaurants, coffeehouses all around. We had delicious breakfast.

Unfortunately, the host was sick and wife had to go to Hanoi to take care of him in the hospital. Hope he get well soon. The business was taken care of by family members who just were there to help. The units were not prepared well ( no chairs, no drinking water, dirty kettles…). The door lock of all rooms were very difficult to open and close!

The host was lovely. So gracious and excellent food.

The location was great and host was very nice.

The place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable; linens, towels, all high quality; bed nice and firm; plenty of places to sit and relax; good breakfast incl.; Du, the owner and manager is extremely welcoming and very helpful and friendly. It's just the right distance from the town, in a quiet area.

I stayed on weekdays, but when I was leaving on Friday large groups of students and other tourists were arriving all over the town and the villages. The entire place will be very crowded, noisy and busy on the weekend, so be careful with your timing. Weekdays are lovely and quiet and calm.

Very nice lady who owns the bungalows. She makes excellent dinner and breakfast. She can speak English well and is helpful.

Good quality/price ratio. Friendly staff. Quiet area. Clean. Hot water. Good food. It's located in the more interesting area of Mai Chau (not the city side, which is very random for vietnam).

Du and her husband are so friendly so the place feels like home. It’s in a perfect location in a quiet area near the rice fields. We played football with some locals and played pool at a bar round the corner. For the price of the room, it is such good value. The rooms are clean and have a hot shower. Du also made us dinner and breakfast which were really nice.

The host is really friendly and available to help with our plans and questions. The room is big.The views from the house are very beautiful and calm.

There is laundry service, but the clothes could be better washed.

A wonderful place to stay! Dự is a very lovely hostess and fantastic cook - I really enjoyed breakfast and dinner! The rooms are simple, clean and in the middle of nature - perfect for getting closer to Vietnam on foot or by bike. The onward journey was easy thanks to the organization of the bus transfer!

Owner was very nice. Place is very comfortable, quite and peaceful.

Family staff friendly and willingness . They help you with your external issues like call for details about transport which you have been contracted outside...Excellent.

Highly recommend ❤️ The owner is really very hospitable, kind-hearted, helpful and kind, She makes everything for your best stay. Bungalow is very clean, comfy and has strong hot shower. The place around is breathtaking, beautiful nature and people. She is also amazing cooker, we have noodle soup here and it was definitely the best food ever, So you should have here some homemade food. On Saturdays you can enjoy dancing and singing. This place is the best memory we have ❤️ Thank you for everything

Feels like coming home… The lovely owner with the name 'Dhu' does everthing to offer you a nice stay. Ca Phe, tea, bananas and heartly smiles - all included.

It is a homestay, so you have to accept that the walls are not isolated, you can hear your neighbour pretty much. Earplugs recommended.

Food was delicious, the place was nice and chill and the room very very comfortable!The owner is such a sweet and helpful woman. Really the best host we've had after 1 month travelling in Vietnam.

The hostess was really nice helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was good we had eggs bread vegetables and fruit there was also a Vietnamese option noodle soup the room was good big window with a view and there were a few restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance but you can also take a bike. over all we enjoyed the stay very much

The shower was a bit small

The service was great, the lady boss was very warm and helpful. The basic facilities met our simple needs and our room was clean and well maintained throughout our stay.

The location is not too great though within about 10-15 minutes walk to get great view of padi fields and mountains
