Hotel Ilunion Merida Palace

Location was great! Front reception was very helpful. Breakfast was good. View from the terrace/pool was lovely! Bath towels were wonderful!!

I wasnt aware the parking was valet . Also we had a difficult time finding the location-would have been nice to receive directions in advance since hotel in the middle of the old town

Really five star hotel in main plaza with access to bars and restaurants. In middle of city so walking distance to all Roman ruins. Magnificent lobby and helpful staff. Would stay there any time!

Not a thing!

Location right next to the city square was amazing. We arrived just before they turned on the Christmas lights and started the season kickoff with a part. Breakfast buffet was lovely with many options.

It wasn’t inconvenient for us, but simply, parking is not permitted in the plaza, but very easy to unload and load in front of the beautiful hotel, and park for free 10 minutes away.

The room was large and beautiful. Lovely big bath.

The room had an odd smell - like sulphur. And the bed was 2 twins put together with 2 separate sheets, rather than as one king bed.

Location is incredible. We could just walk to most of the historical sites we wanted to. Breakfast was very good, great variety. They offered glutten free options on the buffet. Extremely eco-friendly, eco-conscious.

Bedroom was really hot (almost 28ºC). I think they left the room heating at max, and I think AC was left off during winter (understandable, outside temperature was about 3ºC). It took a lot of time to cool off, and even then it went down to abou 25º. Didnt complain because we stayed a single night,

unbeatable location right in the heart of Merida. extensive breakfast of very good quality and variety. would have appreciated more variety in coffee selection out of the coffee machine available: more as suggestion here. great service: both friendly and helpful. pity just stayed for short time.

Beautifully appointed historical building set on the main square. Very large, bright and comfortable room, high quality linens, excellent beds. Although there is no parking on site, the hotel provides valet parking for a cost.

We got a triple room which was very comfortable; however, our room didn't have a window. Looking at the building from the outside, it's an old building, so there may be several rooms without windows. It was VERY well located on the main square in town, which was a huge plus.

Lovely hotel, great location.

There was a festival in the square outside our room until about 1am. Not really a problem but, having booked months in advance the hotel only informed us 5 days before we arrived (and after we could no longer cancel).

Beautiful building and rooms. Unmatched location in the middle of everything. Extraordinary beds and balconies with plaza views. Pool area is cute and very enjoyable.

Everything was perfect. Our dogs were so welcome in the pet friendly room. The rooms gorgeous. The location amazing. Staff were so welcoming. Car parking service was wonderful after the long drive.
