AZZ Merida Medea Hotel

hotel advertises "FREE PARKING" and when you check in they charge you $10 for parking in their garage or you park on the street, they had only 4 spots for free parking and 6 more blocked with planters, refused to wave charge even being their fault for

Struggling to find something "to like best" since nothing outstanding happened.

This one is a bit easier. They advertise their pool as an amenity and it is only open from mid June till mid September. The weather was 34 degrees celsius and we would have appreciated the cool down.

Its location and the staff. Excellent staff, really really nice breakfast too.

Loved the swimming pool! The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was also very good. It was outside the old town, but we just walked it!

The bathtub/shower was quite slippery. I think bathmats should be made available, especially for older guests.

I truly enjoyed my recent stay at the AZZ Mérida Medea Hotel. The rooms were notably spacious and felt very contemporary, offering a comfortable and well-maintained environment. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the beds, which were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after exploring the city. Furthermore, the hotel staff were consistently friendly and highly accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. Overall, the hotel provided an excellent experience, marked by both its quality amenities and welcoming service.

Not to mention, everything was great during my stay at the hotel.

I liked the space, the balcony, and the accessibility to the supermarket. Straight walk to downtown through the bridge was excellent! I didn't care for the tub. I had to go inside the tub in order to shower. If you have knee problems, it is not good.

When they cleaned the room, they never exchanged the glasses. Sometimes, there was no new toilet paper. It's a matter of letting the front desk know. But a checklist for the cleaning crew would be better. This way, nothing is missed.

Location. Reception personnel was very friendly and gave a good dinner recommendation. The mattress were confortable.

Beds not properly made, some dirt in the bathroom floor, the water container at breakfast had durt. Also don't like that type of very long/narrow pillows.

In a quiet area but near to attractions.

Paid extra for a jacuzzi bath, this had not been cleaned. Turned on the jacuzzi at 16.00 and a lot of black particles appear in the bath because it had not been flushed through from it's last use. Contacted reception who told me to empty and try it again, (Is that a guests job) it would eventually clear. They said they will send someone up at 18.00 still waiting no one answered the call to reception. Notified reception again in the morning showing a video of the dirt in the bath and informed them we were unable to use it because of the dirt. Not even an offer of a refund for the extra we paid for the jacuzzi. We planned to stay for breakfast but gave it a miss because of the cleanliness issues with the room. This hotel is never 4 star and we would never return.

I would have expected something more from a 4 star hotel: there was no free water, no kettle, no slippers.... it was very basic. breakfast was also very essential

Staff were exceptional! All our needs were met included when we asked for assistance with our rooms. Breakfast was great. Location is not bad with a 30-min walk to city centre. Overall, very happy!

Nothing in particular, though the evening meal could have been a little more substantial.

Overall a very good time we had, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was good and walking from the hotel to the center of town was no issue for us.

Super comfy bed..spa bath was amazing and great location. 10euros for underground parking a bonus..lady on Reception was super friendly.
