Location, clean, comfortable

WiFi slow

The hotel is in a lovely square with a lot of birds in the palm trees. My room was facing the closed "patio", so it was very quiet. It was close to the station and also within walking distance to all attractions.

It was digital check-in and communication, since there was no reception. Not a problem, really, but it is always nice with a welcoming receptionist.Breakfast was quite simple, Spanish style, a toasted white bread with cheese and ham or a filled croissant. It tasted fine, but I needed a bit more. :-)

Situation

As as first time with the key box system, had to call for help. Now I know that you gave to use two fingers: depress the botton, do not release it, and with the other finger, pull the cover. Two operations at the same time

We enjoyed the location of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room. It was simple but adequate.

We were disconcerted that there was no one on staff at the hotel. There was a passcode to get in from the street. All worked out fine during our stay, but had I realized that there was never a person onsite I would not have booked it.

Excellent location, good price, friendly staff, very clean. The room had everything you would need (AC, TV, fridge, coffee maker). Walking distance to the train station, shops and restaurants.

The location was excellent

Check in was very confusing I received several emails, some in English, some in Portuguese. The one that had the code to check was in Portugese, which I did not see at first. When we came back to the room to check out, the maid had already opened the door and our luggage was not secure. That was disappointing It did not feel secure leaving our keys at the front desk with all the other keys. Anyone could have used our key while we were out

The location is excellent. It is on the edge of the old city, but not surrounded noise. It is also close to the train station, only a 600 metre walk. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The cleaning crew were excellent.

There was no one on the front desk, which would have been nice to have in order to ask questions about where to go in the city. However, this is not a show stopper.

The location

The fact that this hotel reception is permanently unmanned. There are no staff. New visitors — if they have a Spanish or European telephone number — are expected to call a local number inked on the door to get admitted. The person on the other end is officious, anonymous and not friendly. No-one really cares about the place.

Location is excellent, walking distance from the historic attractions, service provide by Paqui was phenomenal, she help me to storage my luggage for couple hours.

Shower are really small, perfect for skinny bodies, but for me as a chubby guy was little complicated, but I found my way around.

Everything, the room comfortable; the hotel is really close to most attractions, I was very impressed.
