Hotel Neptuno

A nice place to stay. We had a bungalow.Bed was comfy. Room was big.It was very clean.The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

The location...

It's a slightly curious place, being set up as a resort but not on the coast and in fact surrounded by rather scruffy surroundings. However, we were there for a one-nighter en route to the airport, and it had a good room, wifi and a/c worked well, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Altogether good value as well.

Borrowed bikes from the hotel with poor standard, but a good experience though.

A two star hotel that should really rate more! The location is, at first glance, a little disconcerting being between turnip fields and industrial properties on the outskirts of town but don't let this put you off. The hotel and facilities are contained within tree lined walls and you don't really notice the surroundings. We arrived on ebikes and we're allowed to park and charge them overnight in the hotel's secure garage at no extra cost. Staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms were modern, large and clean with big beds, bath and shower and air con. There's also a nice comfortable area downstairs with sofas, TV and pool table where you can relax and have a drink from the bar. Breakfast was very good, cheap and plentiful. There are some good restaurants 10 minutes walk down the road (the hotel doesn't do evening meals).

Disappointing

The rooms have paper thin walls , you could hear everybody around you talk . It was very loud , we didn't sleep well. The room had a strange smell. Breakfast was pretty underwhelming.

We just loved the place! The room, the exterior, the breakfast! It was really really lovely.

This wasn’t our first time here, and once again we really enjoyed our stay. We were allocated a studio apartment outside the main building this time with its own kitchen which proved really handy. It was clean, quiet and really comfortable. Breakfast was very good. We asked reception to book us a surfing lesson and the school they contacted was great, just walking distance from the hotel. There was nothing we didn’t like and think it’s amazing value for money. The location is great for local beaches and towns.

Nothing, it’s a great little hotel!

I stayed at this hotel for one night and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly kind and explained everything in English, making my stay smooth and comfortable.The room was almost spotless, with everything I needed for a short stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed a beautiful view from my window, which added to the overall charm of the stay. The location is very convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.One thing that really stood out was the exceptional customer service. I accidentally left two jackets in the closet when I checked out. Since I couldn’t return to pick them up, the staff kindly arranged for delivery to my address in Barcelona. This level of care and professionalism exceeded all my expectations and made a lasting impression.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service, comfort, and convenience!

Nice room, nice pool, chill place, good breakfast enough parking places

Nice normal size room, really big bathroom. Has pool and small football (socker) field. Very good breakfast with automatic pancake machine. Free parking inside. Should be excellent for short family vacation.

Car GPS brought us to the wrong location first time, so we had to navigate by phone - it wasn't easy to find. There are not many options for dinner around that town, though it's really close to Peniche, which has plenty of restaurants.There was some creaking sounds at night made by wind gusts pressing on closed outside pool door, which I was able to solve.

The property is very good Big clean and quiet place. They have play ground for kids. Nice pool and very good staaf

Just one thing I don’t like our room Tv a is not connected with my cell phone and tv apps like YouTube is not working. They blocked so we did not enjoy our Punjabi Indian channels and songs ?

Room was clean and modern. Big bathroom and good air conditioning. Breakfast had a good selection. Staff were attentive and friendly.

Nothing, good value for money.

Once you were in the hotel grounds it was lovely and we liked our room, the breakfast buffet, the cats, the pool and the staff.

We were a little surprised by the location being so far from the centre of Peniche and a little industrial, we didnt expect that.

Facilities were clean and pretty comfortable.

The location, in the middle of nowhere. Despite the property was clean, it was surrounded by a farm with cows and it was a constant bad smell of cow dung. Thoughout the environment, and the breeze brought that bad smell so intense that you couldn’t be outside enjoying the amenities and it was not possible to open windows. The room was overlooking the cow ranch making the odor more intense. On the other hand, the service was not on point. During breakfast staff made you wait for tables, even though there were tables, but staff was not clearing them on a timely manner to prevent guests an unnecessary wait. Buffet was not replenished, you had to ask for items that were ran out; and staff was in the kitchen chatting and not showing a sense of urgency at all. Breakfast options were not healthy at all, not a display of local products, just ton of donuts and stuff pre made and pre packed. At the front desk, no one was there, staff was someplace else and people had to ring the bell multiple times and wait, wait. I asked for a drink, since they have a bar, a lady told me wait a second and never came back.

The food from the breakfast was not good, couldn’t eat it. The location was not ideal, it was a long walk to the town, which also wasn’t a nice town. They had music in the pool section all the time, i was in mu room hearing the music and the animator all the time.

Great place close to the beach and restaurants. The hotel is very comfortable and the breakfast is great! It was our second visit and we loved the hotel room as well as the cabin we rented last year. Overall a great place that we most likely will return to.

Coffee machines in the breakfast area seemed to have a few broken features and it really would be so lovely if they had fresh milk or cream from the coffee rather than the pasteurized boxed milk they provide.
