The restaurant Talho was excellent and so were the staff

Needs to be updated and we were out of toilet paper in the middle of the nite.The housekeeper did not leave any and there was no one on site to get any for us.

Bedbugs!

The restaurant there was so good, especially the staff , the food was amazing and big portions, prices are great, not so expensive, love there, parking is great for every where you want, nice, perfect garden feels

Super friendly staff, amazingly clean rooms, loved the location, relaxing and great value for money. (Also the restaurant on-site is 5 start! In all, recommend place to stay, relax and eat!

Stay was not long enough!

Not much I liked about the property.

Arrived around 4-5pm and noticed our room wasn’t very cleaned. The shower had sand and hair, clearly showing it wasn’t cleaned. We reported to reception and it was rectified. Our second day, we went out and came back around 4pm and no cleaning at all! Apparently they started to clean around 5pm. We had no towels or anything, this isn’t good enough. Our third day, the place stung! Proper sewage! They must have issues with sewage. The swimming pool had dead flies so not sure if they even clean it….I don’t recommend it!

Staff were so welcome, they provide with everything we asked for.The swimming pool was lovely and a little playground for the kids perfect The grounds are beautiful and lots of space for the kids to run around

The pool and surrounding area were quite peaceful and nice overall and well kept, nice for a walk and/or resting

The condition of the bathroom area could do with some work as the shower enclosure was cracked

The hotel was surprisingly good, in a quiet location but quite close to Peniche (by car).

Beautiful surroundings and nice to take long walks. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was great. Pool was a good size and well maintained.

Breakfast options - would be nice to have more healthy options too. Eg. Hot Porridge oats, eggs, more variety of fruits. The room could have basic refreshments corner, like a jug of water for when everything is closed. I never knew when the room would be cleaned and towels refreshed. There was no set time and no notice. Sometimes we didn’t want to be out all day and once got kicked out so it can be cleaned. It’s fine, but a set time would be good like ‘12:00-15:00 room will be cleaned’ for example. We were 3x people but only got 2x large bath towels. When asked for more from the staff - still only got 2x when the towels were replaced 2 days later. There are 3x beds - should be 3x towels.

Tired furniture

The staff was very helpful and kind (the male receptionist who checked us in), the swimming pool was perfect for swimming, quite deep and enjoyable, nice garden, some rooms face directly the pool and/or the garden. The room was spacious. 10 min by car to beaches and next to a village with some cafes. Restaurant on site.

Breakfast was a bit limited, a buffet with not that many options (lacking some basics like eggs or freshly cut fruit). The furniture in the room was a bit outdated but it did not bother us for the stay.

The staff were kind and friendly.

It's very old fashioned, needs serious re-vamping/decoration. A bit far away from anything, you definately need a car to get anywhere.

Quietness (the beginning of the week in June, I guess that in July can be different). The pool is enough big to swim. Free parking, feeling separated and safe. The space to walk, to sit. Simple breakfast. Welcoming reception. Extra good shower, strong flow.

The restaurant and the bar were not open at that time, so a fridge would be a bonus to keep drinks and snacks fresh, plus a little table and two chairs - not to eat standing or in bed. The room was big but looked empty.About the bed: it was good but the pillows were very uncomfy, we got a change but it was not much better. A light summer blanket instead of a heavy woolen blanket for hot summer days will be a nice change.

Everything is just great. We were received very well. The girl Daniela works at the reception, she helped us with everything, thank you very much. The hotel is located like in a fairy tale. The hotel has a large garden with flowers and beautiful trees. Large swimming pool. The rooms are excellent, with a large bathroom, with air conditioning, and have two exits. We liked everything very much. We definitely recommend visiting this fabulous hotel.
